Edgar Ramirez

“I hope my art helps people question what’s around them.”
Edgar Ramirez is an LA-based artist who transforms the street signs that blanket many underserved neighborhoods into art. Inspired by the industrial landscape where he grew up, he turns these everyday images into striking pieces that highlight the realities of his community.
Meet Me in Los Angeles: Edgar Ramirez
Had an amazing interview opportunity with @friezeofficial and was able to drive them around the Wilmington neighborhood and reveal how signs, the port and refineries, as well as my awe of James Turrell and John Constable, inspire my paintings. Much Love. 🙏🏽💚

Today, May 1, 2026, Mayday. Iwas able to watch history being made, while a semi truck drove through the city of Los Angeles from Burbank to Compton, California. With the intricate artistry of Edgar Ramirez. Who as a change agent, has created a movement, through his masterpiece of “I Want to Be Free” (and That’s the Truth) it breaks down the social constructs of society, and bringsforth a sense of freedom to all that laid eyes on his vision. The lettering… Hiding in plane site, so that humanity could bear witness andknow that nothing is impossible ,when you stay in the wheel of your calling, while Marching in lock step of your purpose. This immaculate artwork should have the opportunity to be seen in a museum. May Freedom Ring, and resonate profusely through the Creative Works of Edger Ramirez.

Today is #MayDay — also known as International Workers’ Day — a date that commemorates the struggles and gains of workers and labor movements around the world.
Today also marks the 20th anniversary of the “Day Without Immigrants” march in which workers, especially immigrants, from across the country participated in a general boycott — no working, no buying, no selling, no school — to showcase the economic power that immigrants wield in the U.S. and to demand change in immigration law.
Twenty years later, L.A. artist @_e_ramirez_ is honoring the vitality of the shipping industry in his hometown and its ties to the Latino community in a traveling art piece.

This week! Be on the lookout for I Want To Be Free (That’s The Truth). A 40’ shipping container transformed into a moving painting traveling through LA County streets, April 28–May 1.
If you miss it on the streets, there will be a public event @plazadelaraza on May 1 from 10am–12pm.
I’m excited to share this and very thankful to @dysonwomack @lacountyarts for the opportunity. Couldn’t have done this without everyone who helped along the way, and all the support 🫵🏽
Hopefully you catch it while it’s driving. If not, I’ll see you next Friday.
More soon!
I Want To Be Free (That’s The Truth) was Commissioned by The Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture &

Chris Sharp Gallery is pleased to present Edgar Ramirez’s new series, ‘Alameda Stones’ at Post-Fair.
These new, small-scale works can be seen as the culmination of the past five years of Ramirez’s work. It’s as if he has distilled everything from subject matter to formal methodology down its essence. Compact, richly layered palimpsests of the urban landscape, these works see Ramirez at his most succinct and precise.

I’m honored to share that I’ve been selected to be part of the second cohort of the Public Artists in Development Council - a program created by @lacountyarts Civic Art Division to address barriers to participation within the field of public art, while supporting the career growth and economic empowerment of underrepresented artists in LA County.
Alongside seven brilliant artists, I’ll be collaborating with county staff and public art leaders to review Civic Art policies and practices to provide recommendations to better support artists in the field.
Each of us will also be developing a temporary public art project, helping further our creative practices while exploring some of the topics discussed in the program.
I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity and for the trust placed in our cohort. Can’t wait to share more about the project soon. 🤍

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
