October was a whirlwind of awesome adventures and I’m doing some catch-up about some beauty I want to share. All these frames are from the @ifmuseum in #eastonpa during the @eastonbookfestival 2025 where @pinktreespress secured 6 events for me to perform at magical places with incredible writers amongst wonderful art. The first frame is the magnificent bathroom created by @shalomneuman and the frames continue to share some of the mesmerizing art at this special @_fusionism museum that I highly recommend. The last frame is a moment from the reading I did there, with musical accompaniment, and I wish I could tag all the artists but I didn’t do a good job keeping track; please just go there and see for yourself. It’s less than two hours by car, from NYC. The city is vibrant and adorable, filled with amazing restaurants, museums, book stores, and unique shops. It’s the kind of place that restores hope in humanity. In these crazy times (have there ever been NOT crazy times?) we do need the reminder that “The Good Stuff Is Always At The Bottom”! (Oh no!- the poem is cut off! But I wil post it on its own so you can see the whole thing) We will rise … and fall again. Nothing is wasted unless we give it ruinous power. Wrestle the beauty from the wreckage and you redeem the hours by making beauty from the horror, our greatest strength. Thank you for the wonder you add to the world. Our grievances are all connected.
