This year, Synergy Art is expanding with the launch of Synergy City: a new open-access public art programme inviting you to discover Amsterdam through art, free of charge. Across multiple public locations, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in large-scale installations, experience live performances, join workshops and encounter art woven into the rhythm of the city itself.

Dit jaar breidt Synergy Art uit met de lancering van Synergy City: een nieuw vrij toegankelijk en openbaar programma waarbij je welkom bent om Amsterdam via kunst te ontdekken. Op meerdere locaties kun je je laten meeslepen in grootschalige installaties, live performances zien, workshops volgen en creativiteit ervaren die meebeweegt op het ritme van de stad.

Over the past twelve months, the Global Creative Graduate Showcase (by ARTS THREAD) has continued its mission to support emerging creative talent across the world. I had the honour of being a judge this year and spent time reviewing the work of graduating artists and designers. It was a pleasure to see the range of ideas being explored and to play a small part in offering these new voices visibility and encouragement.

The winners and shortlisted graduates for 2025 have now been announced across categories including Fashion, Accessories and Textiles, Digital, Visual Communication and Film, Product Design, Architecture and Interiors, and Fine Art, Photography, Craft and Jewellery. Their work is well worth exploring and I encourage you to take a moment to look through the projects, share them, and help connect these creatives with opportunities that amplify their work.
