The moment I went underwater, a whole new world opened up before my eyes. The calm, the silence, the infinite beauty it was soulful beyond words. The colors I saw beneath the sea were unlike anything I’ve ever seen on land. Bright corals, graceful fish, and incredible marine species surrounded me. Watching them on TV or in pictures is one thing, but seeing them so close, with my own eyes, was an entirely different experience.

I spent almost an hour underwater, but it felt like just a few minutes as if time itself had stopped. It reminded me of that scene in ZNMD where the characters describe the surreal feeling of coming up after the dive spiritual, soulful, and absolutely unreal.

My First Scuba Diving Experience at Gili: A Dream Turned Reality

There are some moments in life that stay with you forever and for me, scuba diving at Gili was one of them.

For the longest time, I thought this was just a dream. As a Bollywood fan, I grew up watching ZINDAGI NA MELEGI DOBARA and was mesmerized by the scuba diving sequence. Somewhere deep inside, I wished I could experience that too but I never thought I’d have the courage to actually do it.

And then it happened.

The moment I went underwater, a whole new world opened up before my eyes. The calm, the silence, the infinite beauty it was soulful beyond words. The colors I saw beneath the sea were unlike anything I’ve ever seen on land. Bright corals, graceful fish, and incredible marine species surrounded me. Watching them on TV or in pictures is one thing, but seeing them so close, with my own eyes, was an entirely different experience.

I spent almost an hour underwater, but it felt like just a few minutes as if time itself had stopped. It reminded me of that scene in ZNMD where the characters describe the surreal feeling of coming up after the dive spiritual, soulful, and absolutely unreal.

This was only possible because of the amazing team @mantadivegiliair , and my incredible instructor KIM, who guided me with so much patience and confidence. Without them, this dream would have remained a dream.

From the very first day, our studio echoed with curiosity, nervous laughter, and the sound of new beginnings.
We had just 1.5 months no more, no less to take a group of passionate learners and create something unforgettable.

Every rehearsal was a blend of sweat, repetition, and breakthrough moments.
We saw bodies grow stronger, movements sharpen, and emotions become real.
From getting that one step right to finding the courage to truly perform. every little win brought us closer to this day.
