My favourite song on the record. I wrote it at @_studiodelaube_ in Paris over Christmas in 2023. I had the kind of flu that makes you sort of delirious and all I could do for days in the studio was sniffle and play Felice Brothers songs. One night on a long aimless walk I saw Jesus hanging there. It was weirdly confronting to see a crucifix suspended like that in a florescent gallery window rather than floating comfortably in a church where he usually is. The next day I started writing this song about how it feels to be spiralling upwards and downwards at the same time like an endless coil. You can choose which way you want to go and I think that’s a good way to end an album.

It’s been out for over a week now 🥲🤍 thank you for listening thank you for coming to the shows, I remain overjoyed 𓅪
