It wasn't until I moved to the PNW that I learned about seasonal depression. With over 6 months of dull gray clouds and rain, it really can bum you out. That being said, once spring arrives, things really start to turn around fast, and the blooming of the cherry blossom trees is one such event to mark that turnaround. People come out in droves during these few weeks to see the flowers, and there were so many yesterday!

Pretty stoked to have finished @shamrockpdx, Portland’s oldest and LARGEST running event, totaling nearly 19K runners across multiple distances. Through the solitary runs around campus at work during lunch time to going around the waterfront during the weekends, I followed the @runna training plan to the T, and in the end, it paid off. Now the real question is do I go for a full or…? All I can say is my next race better be WARM, because this 35F 7:20 AM start is definitely NOT IDEAL!! 😂 Time to put these shoes away to not see the light of day for a week or two… 🤔

The @runcim262 CIM start line photo - every time I get so anxious about it. The scale and tension of the runners is so captivating. Seeing it(last year’s start) blown up in mega size and put right in front of the expo is even more gob-smacking (mom shown for size). Also fun to get my .02 seconds of TV time as the white/blue/black/red blob in the news. Last shot is of the live stream vehicle which was really cool to see in person. Big thanks to @runcim262 for the opportunity as always and HUGE congrats to all the 10,000+ runners that did it!

Had a pretty great morning running the Portland 10K. A bit weird to be running instead of photographing it, but have been enjoying the early mornings runs and weight training for the past four months using Runna as a training plan. The sheer number of people (12K!) and trying to get through the first half mile never ceases to amaze me. The run itself was quick, and over before I knew it. I have heard the saying “Finish line or finish time”, and I was in the former camp. Was surprised to have negative splits and beat my estimated prediction. Overall am glad to have done it - now trying to decide if I should start 🏊♂️ since the 9 month ☔️ season has started here in the PNW or keep 🏃♂️? 🫠

Duluth>Chicago>St. Louis photo dump. Got to see family at my cousin's wedding, visit friends that I haven't seen in over TEN(!!!) years, ate a Chicago dog and deep dish pizza while >in< Chicago, and reached new heights at the "Ledge" atop Sears/Willis Tower and the St. Louis Gateway Arch. Wrapped up the trip by throwing my back out (not pictured) and now back at home. 🤣

While there hasn't been much to photograph cycling-wise here in the PNW, there is always Cars and Coffee. While there were many Porsches today for Porsche Day, two Ferrari 296 GTS stole the show. Oh, and also a Lamborghini Aventador made an appearance as well.

How it started vs how it ended. Another year in the books with @runcim262. Over 9000 participants across 26.2 miles that enjoyed beautiful weather this year (with no rain, but some fog). Until next year! 👋🏻📸🏍️🏃♂️🏃♀️

Got to drive this @kiausa EV6 Wind for two days while driving to Napa to photograph the #napavalleymarathon. Definitely impressed at the ride quality and the fast-ish charging speeds from @electrifyamerica. The Meridian sound system could use some improvement, but loving the spaciousness, handling, and power. Now if only it wasn’t so expensive versus the other EVs out there (and qualified for tax breaks). This car is gorgeous! Also, volcanic heated seats!
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
