Office of the team of Kunsthalle Exnergasse, MDF, mobile wall elements, screensaver, socks
2026
with Seth Weiner
For the duration of the exhibition permanent, temporär, the office of the team of Kunsthalle Exnergasse is presented as a living sculpture, positioned atop a large pedestal. The pedestal simultaneously functions as a working area for adO/Aptive, an artist collective developing a publication for the exhibition. In addition, a screensaver presents Phantom Lover, a silent karaoke video. Whenever a computer is left idle, the workspace becomes a display for this work. Its lyrics frame the relationship between an institution and its public as a tricky romantic entanglement, defined by its own undefinability. To avoid the pedestal being marked by footsteps, a series of socks function as “soft paintings,” redirecting attention toward other traces of labour, such as the markings left by the wheels of office chairs.

Habit Role & school present:
adO/Aptive (performative reading)
@adoaptive
performed by: Teuta Jonuzi und Daniel H. Pineda
@shoggoth_11 @teutajonuz
text by: @jan.w.e.i & @shoggoth_11
Location: school, Grüngasse 22, 1050 Wien
Saturday, 18th of April
adO/Aptive is a flexible assemblage with ever-changing members that foments critical thinking, potential action, communication and multiple perspectives through performative adaptions.
In their contribution for Habit Role, they use various analogies to past collective experiences that, when read together, build a cadaver esquite of the magic of assembling.

For the official release of its first book, Habit Role teams up with school — a space and collective founded by Yasmina Haddad and Andrea Lumplecker in 2011. Together, we will host a weekend programme featuring various readings from Vol. 1, a concert, a shared lunch, DJ sets, a screening, and an open library with a selection curated by the collective’s members. The event will also include a collaboratively evolving map reflecting the gathering’s components and their inter- and trans-connectivity — and, of course, the sale of Habit Role Vol. 1.
See you there 🧡

In a life, we see many faces, ride many buses, smell many farts and perfumes, kiss many people, make many jokes and mistakes, water many plants, dance to many songs, cry whenever sadness overcomes us. Although several of these events slip into the quotidian via recurrence, there are some which remain fugitive and build their own lives in the crevices of our memory.
Our Workshop is an invitation to collectively unfold these humid spaces and air them with our contemporary selves. To close a cycle, to open a new one, or simply to return to a memory.
What would you wish to have told to the ex-partner of your parent, that aunt that divorced your uncle, your ex’s mom, your teacher from high school, your first boss, the sibling of your ex-best friend, your first love?
These thoughts and feelings will be shared and joined, finding a final form in a cadaver-exquisite-type letter to some of the supporting-roles in our life experiences. How would a letter to a lost friend look like if it's written by a group of people who are strangers to one another? Can this exercise paint the contour of the archetypical friend, teacher or lost contact?
WHEN? 25.03.2026 // 13:00 to 17:00 at MEDIUM GALLERY
The workshop will be led by @shoggoth_11 & @pilleriinjaik at @medium_gallery in Bratislava as part of the accompanying program of "Finally Landing" an exhibition curated by @teutajonuz

In our day to day we encounter many forms and much to look at, as we have been conditioned to; what may seem pedestrian can turn out to be a meaningful experience.
Much like dogs who are taken out for a walk, an artist visits cultural institutions to find a tree to bark at, an ass to sniff, something to pee on. We artists exist, much like a pet exists in a great co-dependence to its owner, in much dependence to our audiences, gallerists and collectors. To be pety (one "t") is to speak from this perspective (close to the floor), to be concerned with trivial matters; yes, we do care about dead rats, we do care about cute bears, but not to lose the focus: we care about who’s looking at who and how it came to be that you look at us.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
