Featured at this year’s @festivaldecannes, @saraishaq.film The Station arrives after a ten-year journey to bring the project to the screen. In this video, Sara reflects on the challenges behind making the film and the long road to Cannes.

We are excited to announce the launch of the third edition of our regional Women in Film program, in partnership with @netflixmena, continuing our commitment to supporting and developing emerging women filmmakers across the Arab world.

The program will provide training and development opportunities to 35 participants residing in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, and Kuwait.

Building on the success of previous editions, the Women in Film III: Training Through Practice aims to nurture the next generation of creative talent, while supporting women’s representation in the film industry and strengthening the region’s creative ecosystem.

يسرنا الإعلان عن إطلاق النسخة الثالثة من برنامجنا الإقليمي الداعم لصانعات الأفلام الصاعدات في العالم العربي، بالشراكة مع نتفليكس، مواصلين بذلك التزامنا بدعم وتطوير قدراتهن.

تقدم هذه النسخة الثالثة من البرنامج والمعنونة "المختبر التدريبي لصانعات الفيلم القصير"، فرصاً للتدريب والتطوير المهني لخمس وثلاثين مشاركة مقيمات في المملكة العربية السعودية والإمارات العربية المتحدة ومصر والأردن والكويت.

مستنداً إلى نجاح النُّسَخ السابقة، يهدف "المختبر التدريبي لصانعات الفيلم القصير" إلى رعاية واحتضان الجيل الجديد من المواهب الإبداعية، كما إلى دعم حضور النساء في عالم صناعة السينما، وتعزيز المنظومة الإبداعية في المنطقة.

A 2025 AFAC #Cinema grantee, Sarra speaks of the pride in representing #Algeria at #CannesFilmFestival while underscoring the importance of regional voices and representation on the global stage.

قبل عرض فيلمها "أحلام المقنين" في مهرجان كان السينمائي لهذا العام، تُشاركنا المخرجة سارة ريما تأملاتها حول الفيلم الحاصل على منحة السينما 2025.
تتحدث سارة عن فخرها بتمثيل الجزائر في المهرجان، مؤكدةً على أهمية الأصوات القادمة من المنطقة وتمثيلها في الساحة العالمية.

من خلال برنامج "الورشة الثقافية في اليمن" الذي يديره الصندوق العربي للثقافة والفنون - آفاق، تمكن مركز سيئون الإبداعي من استكشاف جوانب جديدة للعمل الثقافي والتعاون الإقليمي.

شارك مركز سيئون الثقافي في "عَلّي"، وهي مبادرة تديرها مؤسسة العمل للأمل تدعم الممارسين الثقافيين في فلسطين ولبنان والأردن. ومن خلال هذه التجربة، أتيحت للمركز فرصة التعرّف عن قرب على عمل مؤسسة العمل للأمل والتواصل مع ممارسين ثقافيين من مختلف أنحاء المنطقة.
تجربة ملهمة أكدت على قوة التعاون والتبادل والإبداع عبر الحدود.

برنامج الورشة الثقافية في اليمن المنفذ من قبل آفاق بالشراكة مع اليونسكو تحت إطار مشروع توظيف الشباب من خلال التراث والثقافة في اليمن الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي.

Through Arab Fund for Arts and Culture’s #CulturalAtelierinYemen, Seiyun Cultural Hub was able to explore new aspects of cultural work and regional collaboration.

@seiyunhub participated in “Step Up,” an initiative by Action for Hope @actforhope that supports cultural practitioners in Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan. Through this experience, the Seiyun Cultural Hub had the opportunity to engage closely with Action for Hope’s work and connect with cultural practitioners from across the region.
A meaningful experience that highlighted the power of collaboration, exchange, and creativity across borders.

The Cultural Atelier in Yemen program, implemented by AFAC in partnership with UNESCO, within the 'Youth Employment through Heritage and Culture in Yemen' project funded by the European Union.
