drumbeam is a next-gen drumming controller that combines innovative features with a super-compact and versatile form factor. Using our patented positional sensing technology, it detects multiple hits, their velocity, and precise position – giving you the freedom to create custom-sized and numbered zones that trigger MIDI notes and on top send MIDI CC based on strike position inside the zones. drumbeam also distinguishes between hits and touch gestures, so you can trigger additional notes and CCs by squeezing the surface.

It’s connected via USB to my computer, triggering the samples I set up in Ableton Live. Today I came up with some samples that are a little different from my usual sound, you know... trying out new things.

This is Jojo Mayers' live performance using drumbeam for his project ME/MACHINE.
Jojo uses drumbeam to enhance his acoustic drumset and play synths live from the drumkit. Jojo take on drumbeam: "This will outrank classical drum pads soon."

Looking forward to seeing it live on stage with Jojo soon!

I had so much fun trying out this incredible device… I was looking for an electronic drum setup made of pads that could not only send a signal (MIDI) to create sounds, but also produce a visual effect.

You can choose how many pads to use and select how the front lighting behaves. It connects via MIDI or USB-C.

I’m using it with Ableton Live, and the Drumbeam is a great addition to the finger drumming I usually do on the keyboard in front of me. Huge thanks to @afk.audio for sending me this super cool device!
