🎬 AfroAnimation Summit
🗓️ April 23-26, 2026
The largest Summit for Diverse
Animators & Storytellers

In recognition of extraordinary storytelling amid unimaginable circumstances, AfroAnimation is honored to present an honorable mention to Like Friend, Like Deer by Malek Eghbali located in Iran.
Originally selected as a finalist in this year’s Indie Short Film Awards under General Films, Malek’s powerful work stood out for its vision, artistry, and emotional depth. Due to the ongoing conflict in Iran, communication barriers prevented timely coordination—but his creative voice deserves to be celebrated.
At AfroAnimation, we believe art transcends borders, hardship, and silence.
Please join us in honoring filmmaker Malek Eghbali for this remarkable achievement.

What an honor to be invited to speak at this year’s @afroanimationsummit this past weekend for our contribution to the black indie comics community! We were surrounded by so much talent and learned so much from every encounter, panel and conversation. Fueling and empowering an overwhelming love for the creative space in their myriad of forms. Godhood remains committed and inspired to being a hub of high quality black comics and entertainment. S/O to every creator, student and artist we had the pleasure of interacting with. We’ve all got work to do! Original, New and Necessary! #godhoodcomics

If you know me, you know I love animation. I grew up consuming almost exclusively animated film and TV, and so much of my style and journey as a creative has been shaped by the medium. Needless to say, joining the @afroanimationsummit team in February was a dream! ✨
As a Marketing Intern, I was able to generate up to 5,600+ views on original reels. I also managed AfroAnimation’s Instagram Stories throughout the event, contributing to 6,500+ audience interactions and supporting content that reached 40,000+ accounts across the Summit. 📱📶
I also had the opportunity to manage this year’s Independent Short Film Awards! From coordinating communication between judges and nominees, supporting the organization of the judging process, and MCing at the awards ceremony, it was such a meaningful experience to help create a space that celebrated talent in animation, and to recognize the work of the animators, writers, and directors who shared their films with us. Congratulations again to all of the selections for their incredible work! 🎥
Between fellowshipping with fellow animation lovers, meeting legends in the industry, and celebrating emerging talent, one thing is clear: the power of genuine community is what brings this space to life. The AfroAnimation Summit is a testament to the importance and expansiveness of animation, and I’m especially grateful to have been part of a space that uplifts Black voices and stories that deserve to be heard. Let’s run it back next year! 🫶🏽

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
