Bozzhyra is such an epic landscape! Something out of Star Wars. To get there, you drive along the cliffs of what was once an ancient ocean.

Gator Hook in Big Cypress was awesome! Thanks to @albertmanducaphoto for joining me. I got asked about if it’s safe and as long as you stay aware of your surrounding you are good to go! I’d check @alltrails ahead of time to see what the conditions are. We had water up to our knees.

We were lucky enough to have our trip coincide with the sumo tournament in Nagoya. It’s such a unique sport and culture. Definitely recommend checking out a match if you can!

The Gion Matsuri Festival in Kyoto starts along the main thoroughfares then leads into smaller neighborhoods where the tall shrines contend with tight turns and electrical poles.

Naoshimi Island. Kind of felt like an art field trip. You ride bikes from place to place with so many impeccable pieces, spaces and landscapes.

I’m going to Japan at the end of the month so I figured it would be a good time to finally post some stuff from a trip in the summer of 2024. This is from the Hakata Gion Yamakasa Festival in Fukuoka. It’s a 700+ year old tradition where teams from different neighborhoods carry massive decorated shrines called kakiyama through the streets in a timed race. Each shrine weighs close to a ton and the runners sprint while supporters throw water on them to keep them cool. It’s kind of mad and starts early in the morning. It was absolutely monsooning to start but cleared up once the sun came up.

Kazakhstan. Mangystau Region. What crazy colors this area of the country has. It used to be an ocean in ancient times.
We joined artist Lee Pivnik @eelpicnic for a wet and wild journey up the Miami River—and through time itself—as he guided us through the ancient waterway’s past, present, and possible futures.
The banks of the Miami River have supported human settlements for over ten millennia, serving as a stage for countless stories. On this boat tour, we drifted through the river’s murky memories—exploring the histories that have shaped Downtown Miami while reflecting on what has been lost, altered, or forgotten.
Along the way, Lee shared how the river has been transformed through decades of dredging, development, and geoengineering, using it as a case study for Everglades water management and asking an urgent question: what could this river become if our priorities centered environmental care? —————————————————————————————Thank you @alexmarkow for making this beautiful video! And thank you @biagiomusacchia for filming the footage!
A heartfelt thank you to the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA), The Andy Warhol Foundation, the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, and the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs for generously funding the program and helping make this event possible, and to Lalo Tequila for sponsoring our Weird Miami tours.

Throwback to one of our favorite WEIRD MIAMI moments on the water 🌊
Colin Foord of Coral Morphologic leading a boat tour through Miami’s luminous, vulnerable marine landscapes. Thank you to Colin Foord for generously sharing your knowledge and guiding us through Miami’s hidden marine worlds on this WEIRD MIAMI boat tour, thank you to Alex Markow for creating this beautiful video, and thank you to everyone who joined us on the water and made the experience so meaningful. ………………………………………………………………………………About Coral Morphologic: Founded by marine biologist Colin Foord and musician J.D. McKay , Coral Morphologic fuses science, art, and activism to build symbiosis between people and coral. In collaboration with BFI and Bridge Initiative, they launched the Coral City Camera in 2020—an underwater livestream from PortMiami that reveals the vibrant marine ecosystems hidden beneath the city’s surface. The project was supported by the Knight Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
