Sad Girls Sex Club are ready, @ollie_henderson and I will be taking the SGSC interstate. Some would say that playing in Melbourne is more significant than playing internationally. Some would say they are excited. More to come but you need to keep the 12th of August free if you’re in NSW, and the 19th if your in VIC. X

Episode two of RUSSH Music Editor @AlysHale’s whisky and record series is officially in session. This afternoon’s pairing; the new @gorillaz album and a glass of @chivasregal 18 Year Old Signature – because the right record deserves the right pour. Sip, spin, settle in.⁠

Lennon and McCartney, Morrissey and Marr, Smith and Jones, Vanda and Young...the best things in music often come in pairs. And for RUSSH's Music Editor, @AlysHale, one of the greatest combinations is fine whisky and even finer records. ⁠

We asked Hale to create the perfect pairings over a series exploring records old and new, and whiskies smokey and floral. May the pairings inspire you to sip and spin, and whilst you shouldn't finish the bottle in one go, you should definitely finish the record. Here in session one, Hale pairs @archierosedistillingco with #TomWaits because there are few musicians who she would rather share a nip with.
