never underestimate passion, love and talent. i wanted to cancel this class a week before, due to creative block, ongoing sickness and unmotivation. i only choreographed 2 days before the class, was worried it wasn’t going to be what i wanted it to be. oh how i was so wrong, these talented ladies showed up and turned up! so proud of everyone involved! a choreo focused on narrative, formation, canon and unity. thanku ladies for helping me create a vision i have had for a while!

this dance class changes everything. a class for me is never just about creating fun choreography, it’s creating an entire work of art. its isolating instrumental beats, training stage presence, a state of reflection and therapy, creating an entirely new space for dancers within london as a whole.
i’ve never done a group performance class before, and i wanted to create an accessible space where dancers can train as if they’re rehearsing for a live concert performance, something a lot of us dream for. beat it was their perfect song choice for this, i re-listened to my chosen song once and the choreo was already hiding in my head without me releasing.
along with special guest @santiago.periotti bringing it alive through this guitar, something i’ve always wanted to do and finally made it happen !
super proud of the artists involved, working hard throughout the entire class. this was a beautiful way to enter the year of being 23, to bigger and better things ahead 🪐⭐️
