Nightmare Disorder is about a young man that has a reoccurring dream that he is trapped in a spider’s web. Meanwhile, he deals with grief and depression after the death of his father.

In 2023 I released this film. Less than a year later, my dad passed away. I didn’t know that this would happen. More than anything this film feels almost prophetic. It definitely reflects many of the feelings that I felt when he passed.

I look back on this film with mixed emotions. On one hand, I am proud of the work, but there is also so much that I would do differently today. Each day I have to try to remind myself, “Even darkness must pass.”

This is a scene that I wrote last year! I learned a lot about the importance of making dialogue sound natural in the script. Definitely a skill that I will continue to work on.
