The DivergenX project is launched with a capsule installation named “Does It Ring a Bell?“ Its title refers to an English idiom used to describe the moment when a statement evokes a familiar memory. The aim is to show works that evoke a clear or suggestive rupture between the artists and a capitalist, patriarchal, ableist, and destructive system. The project addresses norms, labour, neurodivergence, memory, and money, but also care.
