“𝐴𝑡𝑡 𝑘𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑎 ℎ𝑒𝑚“ 𝑖𝑠 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜𝑑𝑎𝑦! 🌻

This is a start of a new musical and visual universe that is based around aging, death, the love of
our surroundings and fear of climate change. I hope you will love it! 🤍

The title would translate into “To come home”. I wrote it after a longer period of traveling, seeing so many exciting things but at the same time being exhausted. When I got home I sat down at my piano and this song was born.

It’s a sweet song, perhaps the song of the album with most sunshine in it, but of course not without some drops of melancholy and thoughts on the final rest (who do you think I am?). I also can’t help thinking about the many people affected by conflict and climate change who cannot get back to their homes. It’s a beautiful thing, to have a home to return to, and to have it should not be taken for granted.

The whole album ”Jorden kallar” is out on the 24th of April through @pianoandcoffeerecords

My pieces

tell the smell of old houses,

of abandoned fields,

the sweat of children

after a summer sprint.



These are pieces to be heard naked,

with your scars fully exposed.



Sometimes

they don’t even seem to belong to me.

I should’ve had them sung

by a cuckoo

or some tropical bird

with flaming feathers.



Because they,

they truly know

how to make music.

"They have to be strong pieces,” they tell you. “Or else they won’t reach anyone!”

Reach where?

My pieces are as fragile as a robin’s bones. Hollow and marrowless.

Vulnerable like a wolf’s fangs—if broken by a bull or a horse, it starves to death.

My pieces are insecure, sometimes redundant.

They’re lullabies poorly sung in a provincial preschool.

The title would translate to ”The Earth beckons”, a collection of songs exploring the changes of nature and cycles of life, death and decay, the love of our surroundings and fear of loosing them to climate change. It’s a project that I have been working on for a long time, both musically and visually, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

The album has been recorded with the help of my friends at @leiterverlag, in Nils Frahm’s Funkhaus studio alongside my constant collaborator @jakoblindhagen , engineer/genius @antonio.pulli and the immensely talented vocal ensemble @lyn.vokalensemble. It was a dream to once again come back and to explore the studio, we pulled out so many of Nils’s fun instruments - like the cristal baschet, clavichord and various synths - and went a bit crazy for the single ”Älvdans” that I’m releasing today. I hope you will enjoy the weirdness as well!

It was a dream to once again come back and to explore the studio, we pulled out so many of Nils’s fun instruments - like the cristal baschet, clavichord and various synths - and went a bit crazy for the single ”Älvdans” that I’m releasing today.
