His work blends memory and futurism, drawing on black music histories while shaping them through contemporary sound design. Erica's music is a counterpart to her visual arts practice. Aperçu is a Toronto-based producer and visual artist. His work spans across realms of ambient, plunderphonics, and left field club, combining them together into kinetic live sets that are both unpredictable and elemental. Pairing uncanny visuals and dissonant sound design, Aperçu explores themes such as online connection, digital apparitions, and the overwhelming speed and anxiety of modern life.
