Let me take you through the most magical three days we shared during our Wedding Blooms Workshop ✨
Students traveled from different places, arrived as strangers, and left as artists. Over three unforgettable days, our incredible group learned how to perfectly cover and smooth cakes with ganache and fondant, build and structure elegant wedding cakes, and create delicate, lifelike flowers using my signature flexible gumpaste. Each bloom was carefully dusted, colored, and brought to life before being arranged into refined floral designs that felt truly timeless.
Every flower and every detail tells the story of our amazing students,their passion, their dedication, and their beautiful creative journey. Watching their confidence grow and their artistry unfold made this class truly unforgettable.
This workshop was more than a class, it felt like we were in a sugar garden of love 💕

So excited to share the result of our private 2 day masterclass with the amazing @alittlesweeter_cakedesign from Toronto 🤍
Laura came to me with the intention of elevating her skills to the next level and chose to explore freestyle sculptural art. We began with her initial sketch which was already beautiful but as the days unfolded we slowly started cutting away parts of the cake letting the process guide us and trusting where the artistry wanted to go.
By the end I kept finding myself opening the fridge just to sneak a peek and admire the beauty that had emerged 🥹
We never planned for the cake to become an under the sea theme but that is the magic of true artistry when you allow yourself to play explore and create without pressure not for a client but purely for growth and joy.
I truly loved playing alongside Laura. Her open mindedness curiosity and willingness to push beyond her comfort zone made these two days incredibly fun and inspiring for both of us.

WeddingCake Blueprint masterclass

Zhinus my Buttercream Flower Queen 👑

This was @zhinus.delights first full journey working with both fondant, ganache and gumpaste/fondant flowers, and she didn’t take the easy route, she went straight for a hexagon cake, one of the trickiest shapes to ganache and cover, with all the sharp edges.
But that's what I loved about Zhinus, she is not scared of challanges and goes into head on.

What stood out most was her imagination. She has a natural ability to envision beautiful, creative designs, and in cake decorating, it often takes time for hands and experience to fully catch up with the ideas in your head.And once both aligns you can't catch the artist :) Zhinus already has the imagination—once she masters the techniques, her creativity will open up so many doors.

Zhinus sketched so many beautiful designs. At firstshe chose the most complex design to work on, that required sculpting and shaping. However mid-class we decided to adjust the design, since that would require more then 3 days and work on her second sketch to be more efficient and match her skill level to make the class more effective and efficient and give Zhinus confidence to start with.

And this cake wasn't easy to work on, it hadtextures, details, 1000 molds to choose from and carefully select details that required countless hours to thhink.

A little glimpse into this week’s Wedding Blueprint masterclass

We opened the week by diving into color theory and composition, then moved into building mood boards and sketching out the designs each student wanted to explore. This beautiful sketch belongs to @sallomehshe has an incredible love for abstract, sculptural art and is one of those rare souls who has already discovered her unique signature style.

What amazed me most was watching her bring that vision to life. It was her very first time working with fondant, textures, shapes, and even ganache… yet she approached every step with curiosity, heart, and fearless creativity.

Seeing her transform an idea into something tangible over just three days was nothing short of inspiring. I couldn’t have been prouder to witness her journey of discovery, growth, and pure artistic expression.

These are the moments that remind me why I love guiding artists through this process — watching them uncover what they’re capable of when given the space, tools, and encouragement to create.
