We just won @thedieline Sustainability Award this morning in New York for @everamid !!! 100% Plastic Free.
For over 15 years, we’ve been researching and designing with sustainable materials — questioning what packaging is, what it becomes, and what it leaves behind.
This project brought those years into focus, shaped in close collaboration with my friend Dean of Ever Amid.
A molded bagasse shell made from sugarcane waste, shaped precisely to protect the vessel, then return safely to the earth. Inside it, a handcrafted porcelain form — speckled, weighted, and meant to remain long after the product is gone.
Not packaging you throw away. Something you keep. But if you need to toss, it will return to its origin lightly.
We’re really proud of this one — for its restraint, its material honesty, and the patient hands and minds that brought it into form.

This is my third year on the international Pentawards jury, judging the luxury category in packaging design around the world.
Last year, I dedicated 18hrs of personal time to personally writing considered feedback to each entry — that’s my way of honouring all of the creativity and hard work. If you’re awarded, your work will be featured in The Package Design Book published by Taschen and a trophy, obviously. 🏆 Wishing the best of luck to all those who entered.

Saltwater on our hands, cedar on the air, the cool mist rising from waterfalls — these were our starting points. We documented the sensory textures of Parksville: seaweed shifting at low tide, the hush of mossed-over ground, the way light dissolves in the canopy. The land spoke through mood as much as detail.
Equally vivid were our conversations with those who call this place home. In their eyes we found grounding, optimism, and a deep steadiness shaped by years of living alongside this environment. These impressions became the foundation of Rowan’s identity, expressed through brand strategy, placemaking, logo design, copywriting, art direction created by @arithmeticcreative Production Planning @coralieclaffey . ROWAN — Placemaking: We approached Parksville as observers first — walking the low-tide shoreline, cataloguing seaweed varieties, tracing how the water reshapes the land. Inland, the forest offered another register entirely: the sound of waterfalls, the texture of moss under hand, the stillness that settles in the body.
Our understanding expanded through conversations with locals who live in relationship with this landscape every day. In their eyes, we saw grounding, optimism, and a quiet inner peace that affirmed what the land had already expressed. These ecological and human insights informed Rowan’s narrative, carried through our brand strategy, placemaking, logo design, copywriting, art direction, and production planning. What an honour to share this story.

ROWAN DOCUMENTATION — We immersed ourselves in the ecological rhythms of Parksville — walking the shoreline where seaweed gathers in sculptural forms, tracing the edges where water meets land, and moving through forests shaped by waterfalls, lichen, and moss. We centered ourselves in these environments to feel their intelligence firsthand, as observers.
We connected with community members, sharing conversations that revealed a profound union to this place. We looked into their eyes and saw grounding, optimism, and an inner peace that can only come from living in harmony with the land and tides. Through these encounters and our human-centred brand process, we shaped Rowan’s authentic and visceral brand world. We carried this forward through brand strategy, placemaking, logo design, copywriting, art direction, and production planning.

HEM—Designing HEM meant shaping more than a visual identity — it meant shaping a feeling. A sense of arrival. A quiet confidence. A place where everyday life becomes intentional.
We built the brand from the inside out, translating the neighbourhood’s creative pulse into a system of materials, language, and form. Stainless steel, natural woods, expressive graphics and layered paper stocks come together as a tactile world — one that feels lived-in, thoughtful, and honest.
Every element, from the storefront signage to the dimensional brochure, was crafted to invite connection. To feel held in common. To rise with the community it belongs to.
A home, reimagined through meaning.
A study in meaning, materiality, and modern craftsmanship.

HEM—Building meaning through design. We shaped the name, brand, and spatial identity to reflect a modern sense of belonging — one grounded in craftsmanship, care, and quiet confidence.
Rooted in the Old English word for home, HEM embodies both place and feeling: a refuge for self-expression and a foundation for community. Every detail — from the language and layout to the materials and signage — was designed to feel honest, enduring, and human.
Brushed aluminum, soft light, and considered form become the visual language of connection — a subtle reflection of the East’s rising optimism. A brand bookdesigned with distinct individuality through integrating different paper types, weights, and sizes extends this tactility — a sensory translation of the brand’s layered meaning.

After twenty-five years in this field, I’ve become more aware of how little I truly know. They say the novice believes they know everything, while the expert understands how little they do. It’s humbling, but also freeing.
It mirrors what it feels like to parent a young child. Every day, Hazel reminds me that curiosity is its own form of freedom—that presence, observation, and wonder hold more intelligence than certainty ever could.
For Suncoat Kids, we designed the nail polish colours and custom bottle from that place of childlike observation. Bright lemon yellow, moss green, sky blue—energizing tones from nature’s palette. The creative direction grew from Hazel’s intuitive way of seeing: unedited, open, attuned to care.
She was part of it all—sketching, shaping props, deciding on illustration themes, user testing bottle and lid function, and even writing copy. Her perspective guided mine.
Design, like parenting, is a practice in returning to discovery.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
