And the more we got to know them, the more it made sense. Both moved from India when they were young. Their middle names both come from their fathers, and their fathers’ names are almost identical. And they’d already done the long distance thing, so they’d figured out pretty early how to do life together.

When it came to the wedding, it was no different.

They wanted to honour their Indian heritage properly, but they’d grown up in a western world and their wedding needed to reflect that too. Both things, fully, not one watered down for the other.

The question was never what they wanted. It was knowing how to bring it all together in a way that felt seamless.
