Pakistan really isn’t an easy place to be a musician. Yet we keep making music – not just because we love it but also, sometimes, you get to be part of a community of incredibly talented people who want to get together and do great things. THAT, is how you get to be in a position to pull off the first ever @boilerroomtv in Pakistan. This was history.

Going through BR with the likes of @malik.music.official @ozzie971 @mlylasaifi @natashanoorani @natashaoninsta @koi_nahi and many others was a hell of an experience and frankly, a privilege. Thank you for making the night brilliant.

None of this would’ve been possible with the tireless efforts of @alienpandajury.kukido and @urlhug. Thank you as well to @dialledin_ @ahsanelahishujaat @ahadadreamx @manaraaaaaaaaaaaa @nabihahiqbal @chalohq for being complete champs and bearing some of the load of this manic exercise.

On a personal level, forever <3<3<3 for the Fully Professional DJs gang @alienpandajury.kukido @talhawynne. Thank you for always being bachods but also being incredibly supportive.

Sharing some clips from the set (go watch the whole thing you dickheads LINK IN BIO etc). This was the first time @alienpandajury.kukido and I went b2b and I’m so glad our set ended up being FUN and JOKES. Wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I’m glad we left our egos and insecurities at the door, and I hope that energy translates for you all as well.

Also, can’t end this without a shoutout to @azkashahid. Thank you for being a star and sitting through countless tracks and anxious, nervous thoughts, without telling me to GTFO.

this has been a long time coming, so quite happy that @tripaliumcorp has given it a home. new electro EP now out and available on bandcamp/SC/spotify etc etc.had a lot of fun making these tracks and digging through meme-y bullshit, so hopefully its just as fun listening to as well!

(bandcamp link in bio + blurb below)

Asfandyar Khan, known as TMPST, is a Pakistani electronic music Producer, DJ and an influential mainstay of Pakistan's independent electronic and rave music scene. After some strong releases on labels such as @otomotrax @divine.intervention.records @capemonzerecords and @ovelhatrax , he delivers here a four-track EP that looks to channel the raw, unpolished, chaotic spirit of electro-punk; gritty, high-voltage, and like a punch to the gut. Inspired by the energy and chaos of acts like @lockedclubsuka and @boysnoize , it pushes distorted textures, unflinchingly noisy atmospheres, and abrasive rhythms directly to the front. With a love of a full-spectrum, wall-of-sound approach, the EP is full of noisy basslines, distorted kicks, razor sharp percussion and mangled vocal chops picked straight from the Pakistani meme-o-sphere.

did a thing, again.

while trying to find a good remix of disco deewane i realized i had no idea how monstrous this song was globally (there's about a billion uploads of this track on SC by primarily latin american accounts????)

anyway, been a while since i remixed something. hope you like it blah blah.

link in bio/up on my souncloud/free download

enjoy!

(sad to report my skills at making videos to accompany remixes continue to be ass, and no I don't think I'll be bothered to improve either so enjoy washed out zoomed in whateverness)

This is more than a set. It’s unity between two juggernauts shaping Pakistan’s underground, Tollcrane’s high-energy hypnosis and TMPST’s raw, textural power. The return of their B2B will be one for the books.

Reskuer 2 @asfandyark will bring his usual fast‑paced, fun‑laden, groove‑heavy sound, running the full spectrum from classic techno and groove to acid, hypnotic layers, hard‑hitting techno, and even a sprinkling of schranz for good measure. Expect a sonic blend that invites you to stomp your feet just as much as it makes you dance your socks off.

RESKUE - O25

when @rahema.z asked me if i wanted to share a mix for @a_place_for initially i thought it'd be a nice idea to do a round-up of stuff that's influenced me, or what i'm listening to these days.

but then, the more we talked and the more she discussed her idea of why @a_place_for exists, i realized its a great opportunity to kind of do a 'retrospective', a deep dive into the (slightly alarming) fact that i've been making ambient music for over a fucking decade.

there was a great question posed by @rahema.z in the sort of mini-interview for this mix, about how i view making techno/ambient, and how these two ostensibly varying genres of music exist in my head (sidenote: do headover to @a_place_for to read me engage in some word vomit). truth is, i make techno and ambient because its both visceral and primordial. techno brings me joy, makes me want to dance, and ambient calms me down and helps me take stock of my life or deal with whatever shit i don't actually want to deal with. jekyll and hyde but make it lamer.

sometimes, when you're a musician/producer in this shitshow of a timeline - one which forces you to constantly be present/performative/front on social media - its easy to forget that the significance/excitement/joy/comfort of making music is the making music part. not all the horseshit that comes with it, or that one's increasingly pushed into. making this mix ended up being extremely helpful in clearing up my brain of all that, and focusing instead on the music that i've made over the years, and that i will hopefully continue to make for many years. sometimes taking a step back and taking stock is actually good?!

so here we are, a kind of 1hr speed run through the different moods, sounds, textures, 'vibes' that i've been in for the past 10+ years, all through the medium of AMBIENT. i hope you enjoy it, and find it interesting, because you're literally going to be in my brain and running with me as you listen to it. link in bio etc.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
