Smilax vine, asparagus fern, clematis, nigella, Queen Anne's lace. The whole garland was built in that deep green world, with just enough lavender threaded through to remind you it was a wedding and not a garden you wandered into.

Stock and smilax vine. Garden roses that had been conditioning for three days to open at exactly this stage. Dahlias just starting to turn. Candlelight doing something to all of it that you can't replicate in a photograph.
