I’m finally ready to introduce the N8IR to the world after 3+ years of design and development! 🎛️✨

The N8IR is a standalone experimental audiovisual synthesizer and phrase generator. Designed with a simple set of interconnected audio and visual controls and a modular patchbay, it generates tightly synced audiovisual patterns, powered by a Teensy microcontroller and CMOS logic chips.

A media artist working across generative visuals and live A/V performance, Sourya builds real-time visual systems that evolve with the music. Working with modular synth setups and custom-built tools, his practice brings sound and image into direct conversation on stage.

He has collaborated extensively with electronic artist @sandunesmusic (also performing at Slingshot Mumbai as @sanaya_ardeshir), touring internationally and designing immersive visual systems for live shows.
