Born in Jamaica, Azama grew up in Toronto, Canada before dancing for 12 years at the Friedrichstadt Palast in Berlin, working as a soloist.

An established model and freelancer, Azama’s presence on stage is unmistakable. For her, being a showgirl is : „about transformation. There is discipline beneath the glamour, but the talent lies in exuding elegance and strength at the same time. My presence is in the atmosphere I create. The way I enter a space, the way I hold it, and the way I let it go.“ @azamykins
