Similar colours, different textures — creative backdrop setup! 🎨🖤

For this set I played with texture layering using my hand-painted concrete tones.
Here’s what I used:

• 2 pcs — 8×12 grey concrete corner backdrops
• Layers: 4×8, 3×6, and two 3.5×6 panels
• All hand-painted, all designed to work beautifully together in a multidimensional set ✨

I’m still not over PCU 🥹

2 full days with all of you. So many sets, photos, laughs, lessons, and memories made. My heart is so full.

Thank you to Sony and @westcottlighting fam for always supporting me and believing in what I do at these events, and to @precisioncamera for having me out. It means more than you know.

At the end of the day, all I want to do is create.
To uplift people.
To have fun.
To build community.
To inspire one another and create spaces where people feel safe, seen, energized, and excited to learn.

I want people to leave events, shoots, workshops, and even simple conversations feeling better than when they walked in. Hungry to create again. Inspired to try something new. Reminded why they fell in love with photography and art in the first place. Reminded that anything is possible.

That’s what matters most to me.

This project was created to give women in their 40s and beyond a space to be seen, celebrated, and appreciated exactly as they are today. Not for who they used to be, or who they’re still trying to become, but for everything they already are.

Kari showed up carrying the beautiful layers of her life; being a mom, a daughter, a professional, and simply a human navigating it all. And in that space, she gave herself permission to stop… to breathe… and to recognize the strength, effort, and love she pours into the world every single day.

There are no expectations here. No “you should be this” or “you need to look like that.” This experience is about showing up as yourself, fully present, and saying:
I deserve to be seen. I deserve to be celebrated.

Kari did exactly that and it was powerful.

My hat is off to Anita for being our model and co-atendee at this amazing workshop.Creative director Jonny Creative!

I had the chance to be part of an unforgettable “wedding” without guests 😄
But in truth, it was so much more—it was a beautifully created workshop for wedding photographers.

From the very first moment, it felt like stepping into a dream.
Every detail—the venue, the bridal dresses, the table styling, linens, flowers, and even the food—was crafted with such intention, artistry, and heart. You could feel the passion behind it all, brought to life by incredibly talented creatives.

For me, it was especially meaningful to see my backdrops become part of this story. Watching photographers create, explore, and capture moments between the bride and groom within a space I helped shape was truly inspiring.

Experiences like this remind me why I love what I do—being a small part of something so beautiful, emotional, and full of creative energy.❤️

I had no idea what to expect going into this. But something shifted.

To create a space where attendees could show up fully, and one where every vendor felt safe enough, supported enough, to create from the heart without holding back, that was the goal.

Watching it actually happen, though. Easily one of the most profound things I’ve been a part of in a long time.

I set a personal goal to run a workshop this year. I never imagined it would feel like this.

Same time next year. Or sooner. Because honestly… pas fini. I think we just breathed life into something that isn’t going anywhere.
