We chat to Johannes as he reflects on the fear, two years of secret vocal training, and the moment he realised the very things he'd spent his life trying to hide were actually his greatest gifts.

He's currently starring as Lola in Kinky Boots at the @kinkybootsmusical at @londoncoliseum until July.

Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch was fantastic! Such a fun retelling of a classic Disney story. The cast is fantastic, the lead just carries the show and is so talented, and the rest of them are brilliant too. Very much an adult show, with lots of good queer fun and some brilliant twists on all the characters and songs from The Little Mermaid.
