The third floor of the brutalist building already offers eight private studios and a large shared workspace, and now the fourth floor will add another spacious shared studio to the project.

The rent for the shared studio is 10€ per sqm. Prices include operating and ancillary costs, but exclude electricity and VAT. Studio contracts are open-ended with a six-month notice period. Spaces in the shared studio range from 15 to 57 sqm, starting at 150€. The studio has some daylight windows, electricity, heating, and a freight elevator. With the Culterim | Studios Show, Culterim opens its doors to the public and offers a glimpse into the artistic energy unfolding within its studios. With 11 studio houses in Berlin, Culterim currently offers over 250 artists space for their artistic work.
This year’s edition brings together 93 artists from the Culterim Community, presenting their work at CANK. The exhibition traces a broad and vivid cross-section of practices — a studio tour turned inside out. Everyone who submitted work is part of the show, making it an open, inclusive and diverse reflection of the many voices shaping Culterim today.

Opening : 25 April - 6pm

With the Culterim | Studios Show, Culterim opens its doors to the public and offers a glimpse into the artistic energy unfolding within its studios. With 11 studio houses in Berlin, Culterim currently offers over 250 artists space for their artistic work.
This year’s edition brings together 93 artists from the Culterim Community, presenting their work at CANK. The exhibition traces a broad and vivid cross-section of practices — a studio tour turned inside out. Everyone who submitted work is part of the show, making it an open, inclusive and diverse reflection of the many voices shaping Culterim today.

Time is something you learn in craftsmanship or any physical job, where you work with your hands, standing on your feet for hours every day. You understand that time, time to think, time to reflect, time to ponder the big issues, time to create, that’s a privilege. I consider it a luxuryto be able to create and to make a living at it. How lucky I am.

COCO BOULE @coco.boule is open, a place that I’ve co-created 11 years ago formerly known as Parker Bowles and after being empty for a while it is time for round number two..

A third place, by definition a place between homeand work, but like a meta version of a social hangout, a workspace but no coworking, a place to eat and drink but not like a cafe, bistro or bar!

I think we need more places like this where you can bistro and disco, a playground to boule and fool around and meet like minded people who make what Berlin still is and always shall be.

Last night was epic, I’m proud of myself and I’m thankful for everyone who showed up! Special thanks to all the hard working people at my home @bechsteinnetwork, to @bastikunzler and @florian_pop , to @peterklareberlin for your artwork, to @alyssa_gia_music and@michel_laboom and @edbanger for throwing a proper party, for @mmmagicjohns and their amazing pizza, to my wife @dodo.doesit without whom I couldn’t do anything!
