2 years ago @jason_baum asked me to join him in Oregon to operate on a very small 18 day... well, overnight.... movie. Naturally I said yes 😅. It's a wild and fun movie, and it just hit @netflix today! Reuniting with my friend @brittanyogrady was a major highlight, along with creating new friendships with lots of great people. Including (but in no way limited to), our incredible DP @k__fletch, insanely talented Creative Producer @notkateandrews, and our uncompromising mad scientist Writer/Director @gregjardin! Between these fantastic creatives, the powerfully talented cast, and a too-small team of hard working crew, It's almost no wonder that the final product is as great as it is! Currently sitting at 81% on Rotten Tomatoes!!! Grab some 🍿 and enjoy!!

Well, Babylon may not be a hit (and it's definitely not for everyone), but it is an amazing film, for better or worse. It's a movie about intensely passionate and erratic people during a coked out, whirlwind time, and the movie itself is an erratic whirlwind to represent that well. But what's truly insane is how the making of the film reflected the energy that would end up on screen. It was a crazy ride, and I was there less than 1/3 of the time! 18 years old today, been with me one month short of that. Born a stray in Savannah, GA, he’s lived in every city I’ve ever lived, and almost every home. He was with me throughout my many college failings and my eventual success. He came to LA with me 14 years ago and watched me flourish and falter, have 2 steadicams get stolen, nearly go broke and have to pack up back to the midwest, my turn around and ultimate success. He’s been with me for nearly every relationship, and was even named by one of my ex’s. This dude is more a part of my adult life than virtually anything or anyone. He’s still doing well, but time marches on. I hope to be as together as him when I’m 88 years old!
