Filmed over the last few years by a local legend and pinnacle of the skate scene since the 90's.Nige (owner of this channel) received a terminal diagnosis several years ago and decided he wanted to make one last video.Despite declining health, Nige powered through like a machine to the end, motivating us all to do what we love, skateboarding.This is the result of our efforts.

25 years since Northern Lights so maybe it's time to revisit how it all began.

Blackpool's sea defences have always offered some of the coolest looking spots on the Fylde coast. Completely at the mercy of tides and weather, they are not a chill spot. They are rough and merciless.

Filming @stephenroe for @heroinskateboards came to an end around 2008 and at this point I took a long break from skateboarding and filming.

Still plenty of content to show but I think the YouTube channel may have fallen behind. Some extended edits and something new in the near future.

My condition is making it harder to get things done but I'm having treatment currently so I'll give you all an update soon too.

To round off the archive footage of @stephenroe and @petersteele21 I found this random footage of a visit to the Leyland DAF factory in around 2004.

We had a quick session during the day before being moved on where Ste managed to bag tail drop and switch drop in.

We came back on the way home to mess around and it was just one of those fun nights when we had no plan and a tune in our head from the radio.

@petersteele21 was always there to push @stephenroe when filming.

We had a few clips put aside during filming Rogie for @heroinskateboards and had planned for it to be used in a full part for his sponsor.

Pete never really got the shot he deserved but that's the nature of the skate industry. Later in life we are just glad we have the footage and memories.

@leighr0y got creative and constructed a janky wallie pole. He then proceeded to blast over it second try.

@not_so_lazymoore took the pic for @gng_pixel while I huddled next to him with the VX.

These are the first dry days we've had in a while and I noticed I'm not as nimble as I was but I hope I just need to get in shape. Keep taking treatment and keep active.

Pete's opening line was in Liverpool early one Sunday morning with a burglar alarm echoing through the street as police began to arrive.

The @stephenroe clips featured in @heroinskateboards Magic Sticky Hand and Live from Antarctica videos.

A couple of these clips were used in Live from Antarctica but most of this footage was filmed for Magic Sticky Hand. I think there's some extra unused clips in there too.

We had so much fun filming for these videos and it really gave us the motivation to get out there in the cold and just get on with it.

Blackpool is pretty flat but you can find some good downhill spots if you're willing to stray from the promenade.

From around 2005 @stephenroe was starting to collect footage for @heroinskateboards 'Magic Sticky Hand' video. These clips didn't make the video but thought they were a good place to start.

I'll be posting clips from these tapes over the next few episodes including some of the best footage I shot of @stephenroe and @petersteele21 from 2004 to 2006.

Spent the day with two Blackpool legends. @teacoffeetoast was back in town so we went to take a few pics with @danielallison_photography

The three of us grew up streets away from each other so it's always a good laugh when we get together.

@danielallison_photography was one of the best skaters in Blackpool back in the nineties and was a huge driving factor behind the scene that we had when @teacoffeetoast started skating. He's moved on to illustration and photography that takes him all over the world now so it's a treat to go on a mission with two talented friends and have fun doing what made us friends in the first place.

Preston Uni. This was a local training ground for @stephenroe and @petersteele21 from an early age but we returned time and time again to film.

The first clip is one of the earliest we shot for @heroinskateboards Magic Sticky Hand video. This may well be the most famous clip I've ever shot. I still meet people who remember "The Uni backwards line" and it makes me happy every time.
