In 2026, I attended my first Blerdcon… right here in the DMV.�I walked in seeing a community I knew I wanted to be part of… but I didn’t fully understand how to step into it.

Fast forward one year later…

I’m not just attending anymore—�I’m helping create the experience.

And that… means everything to me 💫

This weekend was bigger than just DJing. It was about pouring into a community that already pours so much into itself. Every set, every interaction, every moment—I tried to give it everything I had.

Now I’m not even gonna lie… my original vision for this recap? Gone 😭�(Whoever got my camera… I hope you stub your toe respectfully.)

BUT…

What made this even more special is that this video became less about my perspective… and more about yours.�Pieces of this came from my phone, but a lot of it came from the community itself.

And that’s what Blerdcon really is ❤️

Huge shoutout to all the panelists, performers, and creatives I had the chance to work with—y’all are incredible, and y’all ARE the experience.

Poet and NAACP Award–Winning Content Creator Lynae Vanee sat down with Emmy nominated actress Zazie Beetz to discuss her highly anticipated film They Will Kill You, hitting theaters March 27.

BlerdCon 2026 in Arlington, VA delivered one of its most culturally impactful years yet, drawing over 16,000 attendees and bringing together fans, creators, studios, and cultural tastemakers for a three-day celebration of Black nerd culture in the DMV.

A standout moment was Zazie Beetz’s appearance, featuring an exclusive 18-minute footage screening of They Will Kill You, an immersive SFX makeup activation, a meet-and-greet, and press engagements with content creators and media — giving fans an unforgettable first look at the film.
