Here’s my Marine Bio journey! 🩵🪸🦭🐋
It was kind of crazy making this post…
I definitely struggle ALOT with imposter syndrome and I often find my self comparing what I’ve done to others in the field. And with that I often forget just how much I’ve accomplished!
So I want to use this post not only as a way to share my own unique story to other aspiring marine biologists, but also as a little reminder to my self that I have worked my butt off (I couldn’t even fit everything) and deserve to be where I am and to be proud to share all I’ve accomplished!
So if you also struggle with imposter syndrome or are starting your own marine biology journey, this is a reminder for you too!
🩵You’re awesome
🩵You’re doing great
🩵You’re deserve to be where you are
PS: I am also more than happy to answer any questions you all have about the field, getting experience, research, etc. Just send me a DM and I’ll do my best to help in any way I can! 🫶🏼😊
PPS: I’m also going to tag all the amazing organizations/programs & people that I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working for/learning from, so you all can check them out! 🐋🦭🔬

EXCITING NEWS!!!! 🩵🩵🩵
My very first sticker is out! It turned out so much better than I could have ever hoped!
I also opened up an Etsy store where you can find this sticker! The sticker is 1.75 by 3 inches making it perfect to put on laptops, water bottles, and so much more! Now you can take a little vitamin sea with you wherever you go!
I plan to ship these stickers both domestically and internationally to make sure anyone can get one of these cuties! I also plan to donate some of my profits to different ocean conservation organizations each month but I havn’t quite worked out the percent and details quite yet, but I will let you all know soon!
So I hope you like it as much as I do and go check out my new Etsy shop at the link in my bio! 🩵🐋🦭🐠

It is jar draw time!🫙🩵
If you are new here, then welcome ☺️ A video like this is posted every month to draw the organization that @bluetide_project (🦈) and I () will be donating 15% of our proceeds to this month! 🩵🩵🩵
This month of May we will be donating too… 🥁🥁🥁
@acs.sandiego
American Cetacean Society is the OLDEST whale conservation organization in the world! 🐋They started in 1967 and funding helps to support scientific research, conservation advocacy, and education programs such as sponsoring whale watch trips for school groups.
So if you would like to help us donate to the incredible work they do, be sure to visit the @bluetide_project Etsy shop or kylasnaturalistphotoswebsite (both links in bio) and purchase any products this month! You can also go directly to website and donate directly to them if you would prefer 😊
P.S. we hope you like our marine themed onesies 😅🫶🏼

May 4th was such an amazing day! Not only was it Star Wars Day, but we also got to see so much wildlife!
That’s my favorite part about being out on the water almost everyday. No day is the same and you never know what you’re going to see!
Here’s what we saw:
• Humpback: BCX1795 “Scuttle”
• Transient Orcas: T49As
• Tufted and Horned Puffins
• Stellar sea lions
• Harbor seal
A lot of people have been asking to see the pictures I take when we go out and I added the photos without text at the end of the post that you can screen shot if you would like! All I ask is that you give me credit for my photos if you decide to share them with anyone. I would love to keep sharing my photos with you all but I want to make sure you all respect that these are my pictures. :)
I hope you all enjoy these photos and learning a little about the beautiful wildlife you can find in the Salish Sea!

Isn’t it amazing! 🐋🦭🌊
Sure there are no dinosaurs or unicorns, but just look at all the magnificent creatures that we share this beautiful planet with this very moment!

This beautiful planet of ours is filled with such a grand variety of life, yet they all fit into an intricately connected ecosystem. Each creature with a uniquely important role that assists in the balances maintained by these very niches.
We are part of this wonderfully complex system, not just observers. As a result it is our duty to protect and defend this balance, not contribute to its distraction. We should be cherishing all the creatures and thier roles, not separating ourselves from them.
So remember, this Earth day and everyday, that we need this beautiful planet.
We need to protect this beautiful planet.
We are part of this beautiful planet.
Protect her.

Yep… I wield both a pencil and a camera 📷✏️
Although I primarily use art to capture the beauty of the ocean, I also love taking pictures as well!
Let me know if you would like to see some more of the sea creatures I’ve had the pleasure of seeing through my camera lens! 🩵🩵🩵

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
