When we launched in 2018, non-toxic was already the rule. We set out to do it better. We built our foundation on bismuth and pushed its performance as far as it could go. Then the supply dried up. Costs spiked. And the path forward changed. So we changed with it.

This whole thing started as a supply crisis. It ended with us fundamentally changing how we approach mid-density non-toxic performance. Copper gave bismuth performance. CuProX with TurbuFlow surface gave us measurable gains. Warchief and Legacy are more capable than they have ever been.And we’re not done.

So a few of the Bossmen were heading out of the shop the other day, spending the last few minutes of the day the only way we know how-arguing about which 80’s hair band actually mattered. Not who sold the most records, but who you’d still defend after a couple beers. Things got heated. Words were exchanged. Somebody said Poison. Somebody else almost got fired.

Somewhere between Motley Crüe, whether Skid Row counts as “real,” and a very brief but aggressive defense of Whitesnake, the conversation drifted the way it always does-back to shells, hunting season, and why some things stick while others flame out. That’s when TSS came up.

Around here, if it doesn't pull its weight, it doesn’t make the cut. Everything we make is purpose-built. Steel Reserve was designed for close-range waterfowling, where discipline and shot selection matter more than raw distance.
