In the heart of downtown LA, where blue-collar industry works in the shadow of graffiti masterpieces, Skyline Festival 2026 lands as an ode to LA’s dance scene.

For its fifth edition, Feb. 28 - March 1, the festival moves to Ace*Mission Studios. Originally a beverage distribution hub, the venue’s raw topography is steeped in the mug of the city’s underground warehouse scene, where music and misfits bash in bass.

The fest unites over 60 artists amid art installations and local eats across four stages that channel the city’s multifaceted nightlife, pulling together a lineup that balances global firepower with local underground heroes.

The East Side stage pumps house anthems. The West Side features emotionally charged techno. The new Downtown stage dives into eclectic and boundary-pushing electronic strains. And the local-focused Arts District stage spotlights some of the most renowned names in the LA scene — and this year it will fittingly be in an indoor warehouse.

The curation of international heavyweights and local innovators creates a melting pot that amplifies LA’s underground on the world stage, while keeping the festival deeply rooted in the creative cauldron of downtown.

"Fall in Love with Her" opens with a quiet emotional question: how do you build a future without losing yourself along the way? The short film stars singer Sabrina Claudio in her acting debut as Lola, a career-driven musician navigating ambition, intimacy, and the fear that choosing one may mean losing the other.

Written by Jazmin Garcia-Larracuente and directed by her husband Brandon Larracuente, the moving film exists alongside Sabrina’s album of the same name, and is a collaboration between best friends.

“The story is loosely based off of conversations that I’ve had with Jazmin about myself,” Sabrina says, reflecting on years spent prioritizing work. Says Jazmin, “It basically became Sabrina and my fears just thrown into a film.”

Despite what some aloof transplant will tell you on TikTok, LA is an excellent place to go out and dance. Yes, we’re biased, but as we’ve been arguing here ad nauseum: factoring its abundance, diversity and weather, LA is possibly the best party city on the planet.

With this annual recap, we celebrate the indie festivities that are the backbone of our party scene, and give gratitude to these DIY collectives — the producers, the DJs, techs, promoters, and everyone in between — that have built these parties from scratch and make our city great.

As always, we’re zeroing in on independent parties that hit the sweet spot of quality production, openness, fun and affordability. We love a distinct sound, a committed organizing principle, and consistency. It all sounds simple, but it takes an incredible amount of effort to pull off.

Here are our favorite parties of 2025:
@RhondaINTL
@habibi.takeover
@interludeinterlude
@manilasound.la
@themoney.cat
@cometonocheromantica
@secretservicelbc

See the slideshow and read the story thru out bio. In-depth coverage to follow. And as always, let us know which parties we missed.

@RhondaINTL
@habibi.takeover
@interludeinterlude
@manilasound.la
@themoney.cat
@cometonocheromantica
@secretservicelbc

See the slideshow and read the story thru out bio. In-depth coverage to follow. And as always, let us know which parties we missed.

Fuerza Regida frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz growled melodically into the mic for their debut performance at the Latin Grammys last night. The band tore through chart-topper “Marlboro Rojo,” telling us to feel the adrenaline rush of a notoriously punchy Marlboro Red, a perfect emblem of their raw storytelling and commanding sound, reminding everyone why they’re the heat of música Mexicana right now.

Formed in 2015 in San Bernardino, the crew led by JOP, with Samuel Jáimez, Khrystian Ramos, José “Pelón” García, and adding Moisés López in 2022, cut their teeth covering classics at quinceañeras and house parties.

They’ve gone from having to pull stunts to sell out their hometown show in 2022 to sweeping the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards a few weeks ago, snagging five trophies, including Song of the Year and Regional Mexican Artist of the Year as a duo or group.

Beyond music, the band supports their community with philanthropy through their Fuerza Music Foundation. And they’ve stayed repping San Bernardino with appreciation for their hometown fans. Their second edition of their Don’t Fall in Love Fest will be hitting the NOS Events Center on Nov. 22 with a lineup blending regional Mexican heavyweights with rap icons.

Junior H headlines the Hollywood Bowl tonight and tomorrow, capping his $AD BOYZ LIVE & BROKEN TOUR, a sprawling U.S. run that follows a main stage set at Coachella earlier this year.

With over 30 billion streams across platforms, the Mexican-born, LA-based artist has amassed a fervent global fanbase, particularly among young Latinos grappling with the raw edges of emotion.

What distinguishes Junior H in the crowded field of Latin music is his unflinching embrace of vulnerability — a “sad boy” archetype that upends the machismo long codified in corridos. The trap subgenre he helped pioneer swaps braggadocio for confessional lyrics about love’s wreckage and quiet longing, set against hazy, booming production.

In a culture dominated by stoicism, being a sad boy requires bravery. And in an era of relentless artist visibility, Junior H stands apart by design — his social media footprint is sparse. He saves the limelight for his performances, and this restraint, he argues, fosters deeper bonds.

“Are we not men?!” yelled DEVO from the Hollywood Bowl bandshell last Sunday, Oct.19. “We are DEVO!” whooped back the crowd, ranging in ages from 8 to 80, many in signature red DEVO energy dome hats.

For over an hour, the band’s three original members — Gerald Casale and brothers Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh, now in their 70s — played with the same vigorous aplomb as they did when they were just a gang of nerds from Akron when they emerged in the 1970s, destined to revolutionize art, politics and music.

Their major mainstream breakthrough wouldn’t come until “Whip It.” But that hit came from a band whose message was a critique of commercialism, as DEVO, at their core, was always a band about ideas — a fully-realized performance art with the goal of subliminally injecting their beliefs into the American psyche through pop culture as an act of subversion.

In our world of the doomscroll, brainrot, and an economy getting gobbled up by AI, their prescient message of de-evolution continues today on a hopeful note.

In the whirlwind world of K-pop, SEVENTEEN are stalwart giants. At 13 members strong, they’ve built their empire brick-by-brick, churning out hits, choreo, and concepts from within their own creative lab since bursting onto the scene in 2015.

Earlier this year, they dropped their fifth studio album, "Happy Burstday," in celebration of their 10th anniversary, which boasted collabs with Pharrell Williams and Timbaland — it sold 2.3 million copies on its first day. It continues one of the most impressive track records in modern music, which includes the two best-selling K-pop albums of all time. In 2024, they were the world’s biggest music group in sales and streams, behind only Taylor Swift and Drake for the top spot in all of music.

This week, they bring their “NEW_” World Tour to Los Angeles for two nights at BMO Stadium, Oct. 16 and 17. The band’s creative vision will splash beyond the stage, with experiences across town throughout the month as part of their “THE CITY” takeover.

Says LA-native JOSHUA: “My hope is that everyone attending our concert will simply enjoy and have fun with us. It’s been a year since our last LA shows, so I can’t wait to create wonderful memories with our members, enjoy delicious food, and fully immerse ourselves in the city once more.”

In the twenty-teens, GIVĒON was working as a server at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. down at the Pike in Long Beach, with music being his passionate hobby. This week, he sold out back-to-back nights at the Greek Theatre as part of his “Dear Beloved, The Tour,” with attendees, many dressed to the nines, screaming every one of his lyrics back to him.

The seven-time Grammy nominated singer delivered his pitch-perfect, rich baritone through the brisk October night, performing much of his acclaimed album "Beloved" before closing out the night with his 2020 solo breakout hit “Heartbreak Anniversary.”

The Long Beach Poly High graduate, now 30, was raised by a tough-loving single mom who named him “Giveon” with the mission for him to grow into a giver. What sets him apart in a TikTok-fueled industry of quick hooks and fly-by-night artists, is the raw, unfiltered confession his music indeed gives, carried through his smooth, booming voice.

High Up Entertainment’s powerhouse six-piece girl group STAYC is bringing their second world tour, STAY TUNED, to the YouTube Theater in LA tonight, October 7, for what promises to be a high-energy night of nonstop dance, killer vocals, and the signature Teen-Fresh vibe they’ve owned since day one.

The group, which consists of members Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon and J, has risen quickly from a promising debut to a global name in K-pop, and this show will be a showcase of growth, magnetism and connection with fans — their SWITHs, “WITH STAYCs.”

Getting to this moment is an underdog story in fourth-gen K-pop. They burst onto the scene in November 2020, and their STAY TUNED tour, in full swing now across North America after conquering Asia and Australia earlier this year, exemplifies their buzz and growth. This tour is the story of how they're maturing Teen-Fresh to new sounds and styles.

Read the interview where they dish on their prep, say what roles each would play if they were cast in a K-drama, and see all the photos, thru our bio.

John C. Reilly puts on his bowtie, grabs his spring-suspended microphone and becomes Mister Romantic. Then, between soulful renditions of songs from the Great American Songbook, he looks for love.

The show is a culmination of the Oscar, Grammy and Tony-nominated actor’s many talents: comedic and dramatic chops, commanding stage presence, and amazing physicality, all tied together with a refined croon. It’s coming to the Palace Theatre on October 10, for his biggest LA show yet.

“What really provoked me to finally do it was looking at the world and just thinking like, man, things are so divided out there and people seem to be losing empathy,” Reilly says. “So I thought — I can sing, I can dance, I can finally play this character I’ve been dying to play, and I can present this beautiful music.”

For the show, Reilly draws from his clowning roots, with the moment-to-moment relationship with the audience at its heart. He’s there, standing over you as Mister Romantic, actually considering if you could take the leap and fall in love.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
