Our new single “It’s A Fucked-Up World” from our forthcoming album “The Manic Excessive Sounds Of” is out now on all streaming platforms. I pretty much wrote the whole thing in a one day and flushed it out over a couple of evenings hence “Manic Excessive”. Songs never come at me that fast from ether! It was like writing down a dream or something as fast as I can. I played this on acoustic for my wife Marianne (and my daughter Diana!) and she was like “YOU HAVE TO RECORD THIS”! As fate would have it I just ran into an old friend, Rik Collins from the 2000s. He was in the last version of The Seeds with Sky Saxon and The Warlocks and The Seeds did a few shows together. We hit it off great and turns out Rik has an amazing studio right by my house. With the addition of Marlena on Bass the star alignment couldn’t be better. The sessions were super fun and the whole process was recorded and mixed pretty quickly. Enjoy!
