Generative Type Experiments — GTX 16
This generative poster concept by Shahd Abdelaziz explores layered spatial systems through grids and geometric modules that shift and reorganize over time. By controlling the alignment and transformation of these elements, the poster produces a continuously evolving visual field—moving subtly between moments of illegibility and the emergence of a structured, multidimensional composition.
The title DIMENSION operates as a metaphor for the layered system itself: from background horizontal lines to diagonal triangular modules and modular letterforms that disperse and reassemble in rhythmic cycles. Together, these elements articulate a dynamic interplay of depth, structure, and transformation.

Our student Mariam Shaheen asks “طب إيه” (Tab eh? — “What’s next?”) in a concept that draws on principles of Islamic art and layout systems.
The design reflects a convergence of heritage and technology. Geometric star structures and layered, rhythmic compositions evoke traditional Islamic art, while their algorithmic precision and digital execution highlight the role of code. The interplay between Latin and Arabic scripts further reinforces the work’s contemporary and cross-cultural dimension.
At its core, the project suggests that creativity can emerge from structured systems, and that long-standing visual traditions can be reinterpreted and extended through computational processes.

Human.exe is a concept by our student Zeinab Radwan for an event that reflects on the evolution of digital technology and its impact on human experience. The project explores how technological developments continue to shape new modes of thinking, interaction, and creative output, positioning design as a space where these shifts become visible and open for discussion.

Generative Type Experiments — GTX 13
Our student Omar Bazan developed a concept for an audio-visual festival in which the parameters of audio compression are translated into typographic form. The project explores how qualities such as distortion, loss, and signal reduction can be visualized, turning technical sound processes into expressive, generative typography.

Generative Type Experiments — GTX 12
In this concept for a conference at the intersection of graphic design and technology, our student Mohammed Yassin developed عشوائي (“Random”). The project draws on imagery from @egyptian_type_archive , referencing local visual culture alongside typographic and lettering traditions. By recontextualizing these materials through a generative approach, the concept reflects on randomness as both a visual strategy and a design method.

Playbite is a playful, code-driven exploration of typography and geometric form developed by our student Hanya Shallan.
The resulting compositions function like a digital puzzle, where typography, shapes, and color operate as an interconnected system. Hidden layers and algorithmic rules introduce a sense of depth, with each element contributing to the overall structure. Circles, crosses, and letterforms overlap and respond to interaction, continuously revealing new patterns and relationships—making every instance a unique, evolving composition.

Voice Interactive Typography: “Sama3 Hos Bos” Exhibition
This exhibition concept by Computer Science student Norhan Alatyr explores the intersection of human expression and graphic design by translating vocal qualities into dynamic typographic forms. Through interactive technologies, visitors engage with a system that captures sound and transforms it into evolving visual compositions.
“Sama3, Hos, Bos” is an Egyptian Arabic expression meaning “Listen – Hush – Look.” Informal and light in tone, the phrase naturally bridges sound and vision, making it a fitting title for the concept. It invites the audience to pause, listen attentively, and observe how auditory input is translated into visual form.

Kun Festival is a concept by our student Reena Sarhan for a festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, celebrating Arab cultural arts, typography, and design. Its visual identity draws inspiration from the intricate patterns of Najdi doors, reflecting the architectural heritage of the city. By combining traditional motifs with digital tools, the project explores how contemporary technologies—particularly coding and generative processes—can reinterpret cultural expression.
The term Kun is derived from the Arabic word Takween, meaning creation, formation, and emergence. Simplified to its core letters—kaf and noon—Kun becomes both more direct and more accessible. It also carries the meaning “be” in Arabic, emphasizing self-belief within the creative process. As such, the concept encourages artists and designers to embrace their role as creators and to actively shape new possibilities.

كشاف
Kashaf is an event concept by Raghad Hammad that aims to spotlight emerging designers and connect them with peers and industry partners.
Raghad designed and programmed a modular typeface that visualizes the idea of “connection” across both Latin and Arabic scripts. Generative elements—such as shifting color and repetition—enhance and complete the overall visual composition.

الخط المعاصر — Contemporary Creative Type is a concept by Mariam Badawy.
Her project employs an autonomous agent that moves across the canvas, repeatedly rendering and re-rendering the design, continuously shifting its level of readability. At the same time, a changing color system is randomly applied, producing an evolving visual field.

Pandaemoneum is a concept for digital art.
Tarek Kassab, a Computer Science student, developed a 3×5 multilayered modular typeface. The system autonomously selects which layers to display, continuously generating new visual combinations and an open-ended range of typographic outcomes.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
