From nights out in London to eating the BEST Chinese food in Amsterdam to sailing Lake Como. This year’s travel did not disappoint! Spent some time in Ibiza, a trip I will surely never forget. I got to work on some incredible projects with my Jasper Seven family 🫶🏽 I made new friends! I spent the most amazing 5 days in Belize for my sister’s Bachelorette. I then got to watch my beautiful sister marry her soulmate. I turned 30 this year too! But the cherry on top is knowing that come 2025 I will be an Auntie to my brother and his beautiful wife’s baby girl! 12 days after the death of George Floyd, Kamal Flowers a young man from New Rochelle, NY was murdered by New Rochelle Police. “Our Letter to New Rochelle” is a documentary that explores the death of Kamal Flowers and the city of New Rochelle, NY.
Working on this documentary will go down as one of my greatest achievements. At the time of George Floyd’s murder I was in Florida quarantined with my parents. I decided to go to New York on a whim with @jamal.peters after the death of George Floyd. We went in an attempt to capture the protests and rally’s that were happening across New York City. When we touched down in New York we were made aware that a young man by the name of Kamal Flowers was murdered in Jamal’s community by the hands of the police. We new if we did nothing else we had to at least capture what was happening in New Rochelle. After spending a month in New Rochelle we learned so much about the community and the beautiful people that reside there. We are so happy to share this trailer with you! There’s more to come!
