⚠️WARNING MIGRAINES & COLD WATER⚠️

Migraines and cold water immersion are not something we should ignore.

There is growing discussion around the connection between migraines, vascular changes and episodes such as Transient Global Amnesia (TGA) — especially during sudden thermal stress and aggressive vasoconstriction.

Many migraine sufferers already know something important about their own nervous system…

When a migraine hits, does your body seek COLD ❄️ or HEAT 🔥 for relief?

Some people reach for a cold compress.
Others need warmth and heat to settle symptoms.

Understanding which one your body responds to may matter when exposing yourself to intentional thermal stressors like ice baths, cold plunges, saunas or contrast therapy.

Your nervous system and vascular system are individual.
What regulates one person may overload another.

This is exactly why screening, education and gradual exposure matter. Hence why there’s a big push for Sentinel™️ screening to be used in the industry to help folk recognise that not everyone is good for 15 minute 90 degree saunas or 5 degree cold ice baths!! 🔱🔥🥶

If you’d like more information or guidance around migraines, thermal stress and nervous system safety…

Thanks for watching

⚠️ Breathwork isn’t a game ⚠️

There is currently no scientific evidence proving that breathwork releases DMT or transports people into “other realms.” So stop your click baiting suggesting it does.

What we DO know is that certain techniques involving aggressive hyperventilation, breath holds, pelvic floor/core squeezing and Valsalva-type pressure can significantly alter blood gases, blood pressure and blood perfusion to the brain. That can lead to dizziness, tingling, visual disturbances, dissociation and in some cases loss of consciousness.

For some people — especially those with undiagnosed cardiovascular issues, neurological conditions, high blood pressure, aneurysm risk, or certain medications — this can be dangerous.

Breath is powerful. It can regulate, heal, ground and support the nervous system when used intentionally and responsibly.

But chasing extreme experiences without understanding the physiology, contraindications or risks is not trauma work, spirituality or “activation.” It’s physiology.

Respect the breath.Screen properly.Know your methods.Know your facilitators.

Your cycle matters. 🩸❄️🔥

The female nervous system and hormonal system are deeply connected — and how your body responds to sauna and cold exposure can shift throughout different phases of the menstrual cycle.

Research shows that during the luteal phase and menstruation, many women experience:
• Higher core body temperature
• Increased fatigue and stress sensitivity
• Changes in blood pressure and circulation
• Altered cold and heat tolerance and recovery capacity

For some women, sauna and cold become powerful tools for regulation and relief.
For others, especially during the first few days of menstruation, the body may already be under significant physiological stress — meaning more thermal stress isn’t always the answer. Follow your body signals ✨🙏🏼

This is why listening to your body matters more than social media trends.

At Sentinel Screening, we always take the menstrual cycle into account when assessing readiness for thermal stress exposure. If someone doesn’t know their cycle, symptoms, or patterns yet, we edge on the side of caution first. Safety over hype. Always.

Some women need rest.
Some women feel better moving toward heat or cold.
Neither is wrong and it’s no use certain influencers saying that cold and saunas aren’t for women during their menstrual cycle as no two women are the same.

The key is awareness. 🔑

Which one are you?

Comment “CYCLE” below for more information. 🩵

I give up 🙄

Stop trying to make money on intergalactic DMT releasing breathwork experiences and balderdash non science backed hype.

Just advising people how to breathe functionally is enough.

Huge congratulations to Louise Kent on successfully completing her Breatheolution Trauma Informed Cold Water Therapy Instructor Course. 🩵🥶✨

Proud to have another safe, informed and deeply grounded instructor out there holding space for others the right way. Louise brings such a calm, caring and supportive presence to this work, always leading with compassion, awareness and integrity.

Lou will now be offering her services through the Green Heart Community in Doncaster, helping others explore cold water therapy in a safer, more trauma-informed and intentional way.

Well done Lou 🔱✨🥶🩵

Here’s what Louise had to say…

“Hi, my name is Lou, and I help to run a family wellbeing Community Interest Company called Inner Sunshine. I also run a mentorship business supporting young adults with additional needs.

I was really excited to complete the trauma-informed cold water dip training withBreatholution. I learned so much throughout the experience, and it’s definitely opened my mind and given me a real thirst for more knowledge and understanding around cold water therapy and nervous system regulation.

The training has given me so much confidence in safely supporting and guiding people into the water, and I feel incredibly grateful for everything I learned throughout the course.

I’m really excited to begin this new journey and start bringing cold water wellbeing experiences to Willow Garth Country Park.”

I’ve been drinking London Nootropics mushroom adaptogenic coffee for around 5 years now, and after trying a lot of nootropic blends, this is still the one I keep coming back to.

It fits into my routine, feels clean, and gives me the kind of focus, calm, and steady energy I actually want from coffee — without feeling overdone 🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫

For me, Flow, Zen, and Mojo are still the best nootropic blends I’ve found.

What an absolute pleasure to be involved in Marsh’s Global Learning Day.

A huge thank you to everyone at Marsh for the opportunity, the welcome, and the trust. The feedback during the session this morning was perfect. First session going out to 772 people from countries including UK, US, Indonesia, Malawi, Oman, Vietnam and United Arab Emirates, I mean wow!

It’s incredible to see an organisation of this size leading the way in continued development, learning, and workforce wellbeing. Few organisations are approaching workplace wellbeing with such depth, diversity, and intention.

I feel genuinely grateful to have played a small part in supporting conversations around stress, anxiety, depression, pressure, performance, and overall mental, physical, and emotional health.

For me, this work is about helping people better understand their nervous system, recognise how pressure lands in the body, and access simple tools that can support calm, clarity, and resilience.

Thank you again to the Marsh team. An absolute pleasure.

Next session is at 5pm to cover the other side of the world, wish me luck.

After 16 years on blood pressure medication, my work with Lee helped him connect the dots between his breath, emotions, stress response and nervous system.

Within two days of applying the tools from our session, Lee reported that his blood pressure had reduced from 172/107 to 125/86.

But this post isn’t just about numbers. However Lee’s blood pressure, sleep, energy levels and mood in general are improving each day!

It’s about understanding that stress doesn’t show up the same way in everyone.

For some people, it’s anxiety.
For others, it’s anger, shutdown, avoidance, poor sleep, tension, high blood pressure, emotional overwhelm, or feeling constantly on edge.

Stress manifests differently in every body, case by case.

The theory matters.

When we start to understand the mental, physical and emotional timeline of our nervous system — how it detects threat, how it tries to keep us safe, and how old patterns can keep the body switched on — we can begin to work with the body instead of against it.

That is where real change can happen.

Breathwork, nervous system education, emotional regulation and consistent daily practice can become powerful tools for helping the body find safety again.

And for Lee, this work has been life-changing.

He said:

“You could well have saved my life.”

And this is obviously not the case and this particular client went home and did far more than I even asked him to do, that’s the difference, intention and effort really does matter 👊🏼

Thanks 🙏🏼 Lee

Warning ⚠️ Important note: this is not medical advice. Blood pressure medication saves lives, and nobody should stop or change prescribed medication without speaking to their GP or healthcare professional.

But alongside medical care, there are also powerful lifestyle, breath, stress-reduction and nervous system regulation tools that may help support healthier blood pressure and a calmer body.

This is the work I do.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
