I’m fresh back after a stunning 3 days in Guangzhou, opening my very first exhibition in China. It never fails to be a surreal experience travelling to another country and seeing work and installations that started only in my head be transformed into giant sculptures and installations. The exhibition is titled “Sky Play” and will be running until Nov 23 in TaikooHui, Guangzhou.
Behind the scenes, I had the amazing team from @vcollective_ltd assisting to build the show from the ground up. Many, many thanks to them for their hard work curating and preparing the exhibition (and also for looking after me while I was visiting).

“Chrome Porsche Louger”
In collaboration with @alex.parnassus
Brolga: I was so pumped to continue my Travel Series, this time in collab with graphic extraordinaire, @alex.parnassus. Alex is someone working at the forefront of art and technology to create his stunning visual aesthetic. I’ve been a fan of Alex’s work for quite some time now.
This is the first time that I have collaborated with a visual artist on this series, and it was an interesting creative experiment putting our two styles together. He has a strong focus on shadow and reflecting light, which is something that I’ve been focusing on lately too.

“Midnight Walk”
In collaboration with @kosnio
Brolga: I’ve continued my travel illustration series, this time in collaboration with @kosnio (Andrei Kostromskikh), a mega-talented photographer based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Andrei’s amazing photography and short films capture the very essence of daily life in mega-cities across Asia in great beauty.
It was super cool to get to draw on one of Andrei’s amazing photographs and continue the series.

In this age of AI-emergence, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what still gives artists an edge. The human element is the hardest thing to replicate: humour, taste, perspective, weirdness, emotion, physical work, real life connection, all of it.

Should I make a collectable toy?
I’m having fun playing around with my characters in 3D at the moment to see which ones have the most potential as a physical sculpture. I’ve gotten close to making a collectors toy over the years but I’m yet to fully dive in - what do you think about this one?

My latest collab with Cotti coffee went out across over 2000 stores in China and Asia. I drew some nature-inspired characters for this - just the sort of magical things you would see hanging out in coffee plantations. Here’s some snaps from the collab.

Something that started out as a sketch 10 years ago and pops up in my work from time to time - this cat needs a name! Can you please suggest one?
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
