Grateful to be able to visit the motherland. I haven’t been since I was a child and wowee was it freaking beautiful. Wish we wouldn’t of gotten sick so we coulda done everything on our itinerary but such is life. It was a beautiful time regardless. Did it fix me? Maybe

2024, grateful for many beautiful memories, lovers and queers. Coming out from depression spiral and starting to feel again was a nice journey. Much love to my community💋

November 8th is #IntersexDayofRemembrance and it’s more important than ever to remember what is at stake if we continue to live in ignorance and fear of intersex people. Rest in Power #HerculineBarbin 💜💛

“In the act of othering queer indigenous culture, a certain irony emerges in that some of the most detailed accounts we have of intersex people come from Europeans. A notable example is Herculine Barbin, an intersex person whose self-titled memoir provides us a glimpse at what queer life was like in 19th-century France. Assigned female at birth and raised accordingly, Herculine worked as a teacher at a convent until an affair with another woman resulted in her being medically examined and forced to live as a man, ultimately taking her own life. Intersex Day of Remembrance commemorates her birthday on November 8th and honors all intersex people whose lives have been lost to violence in a world that refused to love them, or even let them love themselves.”

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted or honestly felt like I’m present. I decided around the time that penny hit one year of chemo that I would try and just live my life, go out more, socialize, and focus on trying to fall in love with life. I want to be here. Art has taken a major step back because it was wearing on my body and soul. My arms hurt, my trigger finger is back but I do feel the need to create again. Finding the joy in that. I also might be starting to work for the post office which is a long time dream of mine. My birthday is next week so I just wanted to share some updates of where I am.
