Well that was a bit of a special year!Thank you so much to everyone one of you who came to see us at a show.We are truly honoured and feel extremely privileged that there is so much love out there for The Sabres Of Paradise and also for our dearly departed brother Andrew Weatherall ( we definitely felt that energy every night we did a show ) . Also a BIG SHOUT OUTto everyone who bought the re-releases of the albums, thanks to you we ended up back in the charts!! 🤯 We have to give a massive thank you to all of the sabres family who’ve made this happen especially @jagzkooner @burnsysabres @ssstatuesss @philm_philm @richthair as well as all the tour crew consisting of dj @fatcatalex @innerstrings ( amazing visuals )@ostopus_sound @merther_hum ( incredible FOH sound ) @lucasmossman as well as all the brains behind the outfit who work tirelessly to make things happen namely@andyjspence @toby_p @alex_brufordand all at @roam.artists & @alextoums ( merch ) and all at @warprecords for their hard work & dedication. Following Weatherall’s generation-defining production work on Primal Scream‘s Screamadelica, the Sabres carved their own path through the underground. Their sound was forged in cupboard-under-stairs studio intensity – 12 to 16 hours a day, five days a week – where Gary Burns would play “absolutely every instrument under the sun” while Kooner programmed beats and conjured dub-influenced effects inspired by Adrian Sherwood and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry.”

With Warp Records reissuing both seminal Sabres albums in remastered editions, surviving members embarking on their first tour in over three decades, Jagz Kooner and Burns have assembled us an 8 Tracks, helpfully titled “This One Goes To Eleven”.
