Something a bit different on the pod this week, it’s a video about stickers! Due to our schedules we’re unable to record a new episode HOWEVER, @searlo_ has been sitting on this chat with @callumpreston for a while, it’s about collecting, archiving, memory, and fun! It goes for about 15 minutes, it’s more of a visual thing but it is in the podcast feed now. Head over and watch the whole thing for the full effect.
@deftones are back in the country headlining these cities for the first time in nearly a decade 🔥Grab tickets to their upcoming shows and you could win a signed, limited edition tour poster designed by Melbourne artist @callumpreston.
We’ve got four A2 posters to give away, one for each show in Australia & New Zealand, signed by the band and Callum.
Purchase your tickets, or be current ticket holder then enter via the link in bio to be in the running.
Entries close Wed 13 May, 11:59pm AEST.

A new shirt design for @pauldempseymusic to celebrate the Shotgun Karaoke II tour kicks off regionally around Aus. Bringing that collage weirdness, I especially enjoyed the truck hauling the reel to reel, it gets its own little moment on the back of the tees with all the tour dates.
Grab one at a show, are you seeing Paul on this run? He’s just brilliant, highly recommend.

So stoked to get to create this years poster and merch artwork for the legends @clarityrecordsadelaide for their annual @recordstoredayaustralia bonanza. I loved drawing their amazing shop and imagining what it could be like if planning permits allowed 5 story tall billboards celebrating all things music. What they do and what this shop provides is so important to the landscape of the arts, so be sure to remember that record store day is just one day, but every day is a great day to be supporting your local independent record store!
Huuuge thanks to Footy and Laura for the trust and opportunity to make this happen.

Almost 2 years and thousands of visitors, Video Land has been packed down into storage. It will live again, sometime in the future, once again showcasing the past.
Thank you to everyone who visited, shared and felt Joy.
Thankyou to @immigrationmuseum_melb for hosting my work.
Today is your official last day for Video Land, 10-5 immigration museum.
Much love to everyone who has been to visit
Now the Video Land is wrapping up I had the documentary crew head in and catch up with @searlo_ aka Ben, who you would recognise from the original Video Land ad. I wish him well in his job hunt post Video Land, happy to give you that reference mate.

Some various 35mm shots that have come through the lab of ‘Video Land’ an art installation by @callumpreston 📸
Video Land recreates a full-scale 1990s video rental store inside a museum, and it feels almost indistinguishable from the real thing. The kind of place you might have visited as a kid on a Friday night, wandering the aisles with no real plan, just the quiet excitement of choosing a movie or 3 without algorithms and essentially picking a movie on how cool the cover was, or if it was available..🍿
With rows of VHS tapes, patterned carpet, fluorescent signage and old TVs looping grainy footage, every detail brings back that familiar feeling of a simpler time 📼
Our team were reminiscing this week about video store days, and it felt strangely similar to shooting film and the lab, all the waiting, the anticipation, the vibrant colours and the routine of it all.
We’re always talking about why analogue photography still feels so special, and maybe it’s really about nostalgia, physical spaces, and the feelings they carry, like a local video store maybe we have the same feeling dropping off film for 1 hour photos whilst going food shopping, or running errands! 🤓
This is the last weekend of video land with the exhibition closing tomorrow, If you’re in Melbourne be sure to check it out whilst you can!

As part of the closing festivities of Video Land, I will be in the store all day for the whole final weekend, making membership cards free for all guests (we are past 1100 fictional memberships which is insane) and the merch cart will be there with deals for end of show!
All merch is available on my website also if you need something but can’t get to the final weekend.
Thank you for all the kind shares and messages, your support of physical spaces tha make you feel something special helps dull the sting of AI slop!

It’s been a fantastic run, but like all good things (and majority of actual video stores) it’s time to close up my show Video Land @immigrationmuseum_melb
Have you been? Let me know if it stirred up some feelings!
So grateful to everyone who has been to see it and shared wonderful memories of their youth, discovering life changing films, and the Joy of being back there for a fleeting moment.
After nearly 2 years and thousands of guests we are down to our final few weeks! Last call for a visit, before it goes into hibernation for some some unknown future

2nd annual @thetotehotel Christmas windows are now painted. Thanks to the crew for having me along to brighten up the intersection. Mariah singing Ace of spades, or Lemmy hitting whistle tone, both feel like a Xmas gift.
Thanks to @champagneinternet (Better Totes and Gardens) for the footage.
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
