İki yıl önce, yazın Türkiye’ye temelli döndüğümde bu şarkının ezgisi dilimdeydi, gitarı elime alıp da mırıldanıyordum fakat sözleri eksikti. Pandemi, Amerika derken birçok dostumu uzun süre görememiştim. Benim dönüşüm şerefine kalabalıkça buluşup yemek yedik. Ben o akşamdan iki gün önce onlarla buluşacak olmanın heyecanıyla gitarı tekrar elime aldım ve bu sefer sözler çıkıverdi. O akşam görüştüğüm, şarkının üretim sürecinde yanımda olan, veya bunların hiçbiriyle ilgisi olmasa bile bana dostluğun ne olduğunu hissettiren herkese teşekkür ederim.

Ân’a Akım ismini verdiğimiz bu albüm bir akıştan ibaret, şu gök kubbede hoş bir Sadâ’dan ibaret. İçinde gizli hikayeleri olan şarkıları, Mantraları, Mevlâna’nın kelamları, insanın arama, deneme, dinleme ve dinletme çabası var. Denebilir ki, biz kimsek o var, en doğal haliyle.

In December 2023, we spontaneously gathered at our studio in Kadıköy and, in just 40 minutes, recorded a completely improvised session. Last week, this recording turned into an album deal with Elektra Music Label, (@elektramusic.eu) one of the biggest supporters of contemporary and independent music in Europe! It will be available on the platforms soon.

This album, which we named Ân’a Akım (“Flow to the Moment”), is purely a stream, a mere pleasant sound under the celestial dome. It contains songs with hidden stories, mantras, the words of Rumi, and the human effort to search, try, listen, and make others listen. You could say it’s a reflection of who we are, in our most natural state.
Ease, chaos, joy, and seriousness.
