my sweet, beautiful sister Kirsten has passed on after a long and hard battle. she carried more pain than most could see. beneath that pain however was a softness, a loving warmth, an unabashedness and an infectious sense of humor. my cheeks still hurt from how many times she pinched them when i was a lil guy. she also had the unique ability to come up with a melody/jingle off the cuff expertly. despite all odds, she was so truly herself always, and she was brave. it will be sad not to grow old with her. i have nothing but compassion and love in my heart, and i will carry her memory and spirit with me everywhere i go for the rest of my days. 💙💛
