Casey Driessen’s Blue Ridge Fiddle Camp returns for an exciting third year at the Brevard Music Center, August 19–22, 2026, culminating with the high-energy Fiddle Forward concert on August 22nd. Applications are open January 14th to March 14.
Presented by Mountain Song Productions and the Brevard Music Center, this immersive camp features instruction from Casey, Swedish 5-string violist Mikael Marin (Väsen), funky-grassy fiddler/vocalist Kathleen Parks (Twisted Pine), Cajun & Creole fiddler Cedric Watson (Bijou Creole), renowned experimental fusion drummer Jeff Sipe (Aquarium Rescue Unit), and freestyle fiddle master Darol Anger as this year’s Artist-in-Residence. Bassist Bryn Davies (Darrell Scott, Jack White) and guitarist Clay Ross (Ranky Tanky) will join us as the house band, rounding out a powerhouse team of instructors.
Last year, the camp welcomed musicians ages 10-76 from 22 states and 11 countries. Players of many styles came together to create an unmatched atmosphere of learning, joy, community, and musical exploration. If you were there, you already know how special this space is—and we can’t wait to build on that magic next summer. ✨🎻

Couldn’t resist a visit to see Il Cannone, the violin of Niccolò Paganini—arguably the world’s most celebrated and virtuosic violinist. Upon his death in 1840, he gifted his 1743 Guarneri del Gesu to the city of Genoa. It’s on display in a government museum with other artifacts from his life. The wax on the back of the scroll is the seal of ownership of Genoa, a common practice at the time. I was fortunate to meet one of two caretakers of the instrument at his shop. He has studied the instrument as much as (if not more) than anyone and makes serious replicas. One is seen here with my 5-string Silakowski fiddle whose pattern was taken from Paganini’s instrument. And I received a gift of antique mutes to add to my collection!
🚨Don’t forget to check out my Otherlands collaboration with organetto extraordinaire Filippo Gambetta while in Genoa! (Link in bio or Youtube)

Had a blast sitting in with the Dave Matthews Band in Charlotte…came home with the songs rolling around in my head, still playing them, Tripping Billies in particular. In these situations, the best thing you can do is lay down some fiddle loops and let the fingers explore. Hope we get to play again sometime!

Some fun ones with @caseydriessen tonite in #charlotte @davematthewsband 👍🏽💜🙏🏽👯♀️✌🏽🎉

LOCATION: Genoa, Italy
DATE: May 16, 2022
CREDITS
Song: Monferrina di Napoleone (Traditional)
Organetto: Filippo Gambetta
Fiddle/Audio/Video: Casey Driessen
Arranged by: Filippo Gambetta, Casey Driessen
Special Thanks: Beppe Gambetta, Guilio Venier
ABOUT THE COLLABORATION
My final collaboration in northern Italy was with organetto extraordinaire Filippo Gambetta, in a park along the Italian Riviera. He showed me a tune called a monferrina from the Quattro Province region. At times, it felt like we were one instrument, ebbing and flowing, breathing in sync. Dynamic, conversational, and spontaneous. I like this setting for music, and I like this duo. Make sure to check out his music and projects!

Exploring new rhythms, melodies, and loops by transcribing a track from the amazing Malian singer Oumou Sangare called N’guatu. Super fun!

Finished up our lil lake sesh with Brittany showing me a tune from Ernie Carpenter called Elk River Blues. Why can’t all afternoons be like this? 💃🎻💛🎻🕺

Let’s fiddle another! Here’s a sweet version of Midnight on the Water…at midday.
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
