I find it hard to imagine anyone watching Alex and not feeling inspired or energised to get outside and take notice of nature or get active with gardening. Certainly that seems to be his effect on people and we think that's worth a vote of confidence. :)

Just 3 highlights from a couple of days out soaking up some inspiration @sheffdocfest which I would really encourage people to look up and look out for. In particular I was blown away by #thecranescall which is a beautiful, important film highlighting the work of two incredible women investigating and documenting crimes against humanity happening right now in Ukraine. It's amazing to see so many talented and dedicated filmmakers working relentlessly to share stories in such a range of styles, especially in a tough funding landscape. #documentary #therideahead #hollywoodgate #filmforimpact

This is 40. Having a milestone birthday when you're grieving is challenging to navigate, especially when it falls on a long bank holiday weekend. Grief steals your desire to celebrate and for me left me feeling anxious and empty. My previous zest for life has felt robbed by grief recently. I wanted instead to mark this milestone by stepping out of my daily life and by doing so I've been able to remind myself of the lightness I previously felt. It's been a brilliant antidote, and has been so freeing. Thank you Paris, James, mum, Heather and to everyone who sent thoughtful cards, presents and messages. They meant a lot. 💗

What a brilliant piece of work telling the unforgettable story of #thejungle and an important reminder that the crisis continues even though it might not be as visible as the jungle was in Calais.
