Thank you @basssiani for the amazing 12,5 hours journey we lived together for the reopening party ♥️
We rarely experienced something like this from the first till the last minute.

This city and this club stole our heart last year and the experience was even better this year.
We felt once again warmly welcomed by the whole team who is doing an amazing job creating such a unique space!

Special thanks to the dancers for following us and dancing till the end.

Far from home, calling back to our visit last year, we’re inviting Milan’s favourite passion-driven club series @closer_milano to cover the distance with a selection of DJs’ favourite DJs.

An early summer night painted by the mind-tickling and evocative techno of Brazilian artist @marcal_____ , b2b with Dutch visionary and friend of the house @arthurrobertofficial. Joining them, Moroccan artist @chami_f2f, who found his calling through the Minijob crew in Paris before landing in Berlin, operating at the source of underground club culture on the city’s outer edge. Finally, Closer member and founder of the Milanese day-into-night series @rorschack______ is the last piece of the puzzle.

The party will take place at EVO - an open air venue located in the middle of an olive tree field. I am counting the days - this will be romantic 🤌❤️

12.04.26 Closing Berghain was the best moment I had in my life in a booth. ♥️🔥
I usually do not over share how I felt during my sets but for this one I have the feeling I want to explain a little bit what happened. As it was the 4th time I was closing this place I really wanted to make sure to use all experiences I had before and try to get the best result out of it. I also wanted to show how much respect I have for this room and for this dancefloor by being creative, mixing old school and more modern tracks and still staying consistent in the flow. It was also important for me to play slower and even finish the last hour at a very slow pace to remind people that groove and energy is not correlated to speed on the opposite the slower the groovier. (Ps: without giving any number I am not saying that faster speed is not good, just saying that slower speed is also full of energy)
The response from the dancefloor during the set, the way everyone was dancing together and the energy they gave me made me feel incredibly good and helped pushing my idea even more.
One another thing, this set is not the result of one man’s job but a of a team with a lot of people behind (friends, DJ, producer… you know who you are) who continuously supported me, provided me advices and shared music with me.
I am more than thankful for having those people in my life, for having the trust from Berghain to express myself and for being allowed to play in front of such a beautiful crowd. ♥️
Not possible to forget also about the one and only @pareka.binaer who’s light was absolutely perfect as always!

Sometimes it is really important to have a strong message and statement to share during a set, and I am more than happy (as you can see on my face on the second picture) that it got delivered and people got it.
