Reading Light, 2026
Dimmable wall-mounted lamp
7.5” x 3.75” x 4.75”
Plywood, LEDs, electronics, plastic container, hardware
Reading Light began life as a hardware test rig for a dimming system I was developing for a new lamp edition. I found it much later when cleaning my studio, and decided to quickly and casually re-purpose it. I loved the resulting functionality and used it as my bedside reading light for several months.

One last video of A Holy Place, a collaboration with @wyatt_bertz. Thank you @95gallon (@dan_gausman & @bradleympaintings) for stuffing us in a trashcan at @newartdealers 2026!

At NADA New York, artists Chris Beeston @chbeesty and Wyatt Bertz @wyatt_bertzare collaborating for the first time on a body of work. The duo explain their approach to working as a partnership as well as explored themes:
“With this new body of work we explore an expansive view of spirituality encompassing ancient and contemporary belief systems. We constrained ourselves to a single, repeating geometric grid unit derived from a paper sculpture originally created by Beeston (Open Cell, 2015). Borrowing the surface treatment from Bertz’s recent body of kinetic light sculptures with automotive finishes and precise grids of crystal rhinestones (such as Volumetric Rhinestone Lattice #4 (Purple Spike Cube), 2026), we permuted this grid system across several sculptures that together represent a spiritual ascent.”
NADA New York @newartdealers is open to the visitors through Sunday 5/17 or reach via DM for additional information.

This week is the week. NADA opens to VIP on Wednesday at 10am and to the public at 4pm. Chris Beeston @chbeesty and Wyatt Bertz @wyatt_bertz have created an immersive experience for all who attend. Looking forward to seeing and meeting you there. Booth F13.

Welcome @chbeesty
Chris Beeston builds lamps, stereos, and other functional objects from found materials and dollar store containers. He imagines a future where these “post-apocalyptic housewares,” hand-built from scavenged and repurposed parts, have replaced our mass-produced material culture. His work has been exhibited at Patrick Parrish Gallery, International Objects, and The Hole.
Chris brings his doomsday optimism to After Hours.

NADA New York (@newartdealers) opens a week from today. Swing by the 95 Gallon project booth (F13) to take in the latest by collaborating artists Chris Beeston @chbeesty and Wyatt Bertz @wyatt_bertz.

Announcing ‘A Holy Place,’ our May show with Chris Beeston @chbeesty and Wyatt Bertz @wyatt_bertz, taking place at NADA New York @newartdealers from May 13 - 17. We are anxious to share the incredible works the artists have brought to life for 95 Gallon and our project booth space.
We aim to make the most of our fair debut. Stay tuned for more announcements and sneak peaks leading up to the event. 🎆🎆🎆

I hope you’ll visit Plein Air, an amazing show of new sculptures by Robert Gober, on view until April 18th at Matthew Marks in Chelsea. I had the distinct pleasure of working on the electrical components for these vitrines, including lots of tiny LEDs and a battery system that allows them to be exhibited with no visible power cord.

Made a little wall-mounted bedside reading/nightlight yesterday. If you need a little last minute Xmas gift DM me and I’ll ship it you tomorrow. $300. Not guaranteed to arrive exactly on Christmas but should be close!
This piece started life as a test rig for the dimming system I developed for an edition of lamps I made in 2023. LEDs are tricky to dim smoothly without flickering. Lately I’ve been going through old scraps to see what can be repurposed into something new.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
