hi, just unpacked the remainder of the t-shirts i was selling at shows in january and threw them on bandcamp. there’s a handful of smalls, i think six XLs and a smattering of mediums and larges left. might reprint this on a different color shirt later in the year, let me know if that might tickle your fancy.i believe my bio features the bandcamp link. have a nice april.

Multi-instrumenalist punk rocker Che Arthur brings his Hüsker Dü-ish indie punk songs to Waller's Coffee in Decatur on Wednesday, January 28th, joined by Athens rock legends Five Eight and Atlanta post-punk provocateurs Victory Hands. The Chicago-based Arthur is touring in support of his fourth solo LP, DESCRIBE THIS PRESENT MOMENT. Five Eight is still riding high after touring the southeast from Austin to Asheville to Tampa with their critically-acclaimed feature documentary, WEIRDO: THE STORY OF FIVE EIGHT, which was just released on blu-ray and DVD. The band's ninth studio album, HELP A SINNER, will be released in March on Static Era Records. Victory Hands is prepping to record their "Watergatefold" double album, CAVETT, which covers the Watergate scandal chronologically, using transcripts from the period as lyrics.

tomorrow austin, please bring yourselves to this bitchin event. @adam_reach and i played in this same location in the 90s when it was a different club called the blue flamingo, and that place was wild. our show was crazy but was only the beginning of truly one of my favorite and most insane nights ever. after our show we walked down the block to the original emo’s to see a completely chaotic show by a certain band with a name i’m not sure i’m allowed to post here for profanity reasons 😆. let’s just say their name included two orifices that for roughly half of humans are very near each other.anyway, austin friends, hope to see you there tomorrow.

Next Wednesday, January 28th, come see our pal from Chicago, Che Arthur — live mixer for Bob Mould, Silversun Pickups, the Michael Shannon / Jason Narducy R.E.M. tours, etc. — tear it up with a solo set between the post-punk of Victory Hands and the blast of loud rock from from Five Eight.

hey atlanta friends, the show there next wednesday has moved from its previous location to waller’s, and now will include my very old friends @fiveeightathensband, and i am mega stoked to play with them again after some decades. please do not miss this 100% rad show with @_victoryhands also on the bill. i have a day off in atlanta the next day so i’m gonna go shop at @criminalrecords if you’d like to join me.
