Die Musik von Chien mon ami bewegt sich zwischen Klangexperimenten und melodischem Pop. Das Cello von Naomi Mabanda (Orchestre tout puissant Marcel Duchamp, Tout Bleu) lädt die Synthesizer von Tenko (Dedelaylay, Tenko Texas Seduction) ein, zu schnurren und auf einige schaukelnde Bässe zu treffen, unterstützt von einzigartigen Rhythmusboxen und surrealen Texten. Ihre erste Platte aus der Serie "What we talk about when we talk about love" wurde im Januar 2022 auf dem Label Blaublau Records veröffentlicht
