At the time, they were just up the street on Sunset, slanging burgers.
Not long after, Arman pulled up on me and basically said:
“Bobby… go all-in...Make their first store unforgettable bro!!”
I obliged. By the end of that summer, I had designed and painted their entire first location.
These photos are from that build — my first restaurant project, and still one of my favorite installs to this day. It opened a lot of doors for me, and more importantly, it kicked off a real relationship with these guys — not just business, but genuine friendship.
